These days he's so preoccupied with starring at the camera with his mouth open in "shock", and jumping around his chair, that he can't catch even the simplest bars. He's just an overreaction channel at this point.

It does hit hard but there's plenty of logical fallacy in blaming the devil. God is all powerful but cannot protect us or stop the devil? There's the issue with the traditional religion and human rationale since we cannot place worship and blame on the same figure. There's more to understand about life and death that we as humans have trouble conceiving that death isn't a punishment nor is life. He's coming to the right entity by asking God for more wisdom but falls short in giving the devil more credit than it deserves. The genius part is calling it "devils work" as it's the devil's obligation to take the blame still serving God. But not everyone is ready for this conversation.

You weren't wrong about crucifixions being in mostly only Catholic churches, most other religions use just a cross. I grew up very religious, Catholic and Baptist mostly, but after my deployment to Iraq I just couldn't believe anymore. No disrespect to anyone's beliefs, that's just me. What I saw had me thinking either God doesn't exist or if he does he is a real asshole. That's also why the first half of this rap had me emotional too. I would wonder why some of the best soldiers I knew died but I lived.. wishing I could go instead and they could come back.. that shit fucked with me for a long time and it still creeps back in sometimes. I really don't know what else to say. I liked the rap and the video and your breakdown was excellent as always man. Damn that one got me emotional. 😔😔

yeah tiff, i have friends who think the same thing after losing a brother or sister in combat...its only of them biggest issues that returning soldiers face mentally. i appreciate you sharing that and have mad respect for anyone struggling with those emotions.
