Try going into that corner and wait for them to gather and use only BT, jump and taptrigger button consecutively continuously (spam that jump and roll combo) and when the multiple slashes activate use it. This is the secret to 100% complete this stage everytime.

Yep. They get stuck on Air, and you can damage them at all. The game wants you to defeat them using BT only. I gave up on Dual Blade Trail V
