At some moment, there was a conflict within Nero. Fight your newly discovered father, the one who dropped you like yesterday's news, the one who (in Nero's eyes) could have prevented Yamato from falling into Fortuna's possession, the one who pretty much enabled the events of DMC5 and now he's off to kill your uncle,who is also down to kill your discovered father he didn't neglect to tell you anything about. Regret about not having enough strength, being told he can't help. But...In some ways, V was still a tender moment for Nero. This is it. These are the proving grounds to culminate all of these voices inside of your head, to deal with all of it in a single moment. "I have a son?" Vergil processes. He took notice of Nero's hidden strength, and accepts Nero's challenge to end the rivalry of his twin brother Dante, for better or worse. Even though he won't admit it, he has a twisted confliction: a father's pride, a competitive drive for swordsmanship and strength, and memories from V. It's kind of melancholy, but he can't give up, won't give up. A chapter of revelations to a Saga of strife over what it means to be a son of Sparda. Both step forward entwined by destiny, an amount of tender apprehension, and their driving force of what needs to be done. To me, that's what's going on in "Silver Bullet". With Nero interrupting the song, it's like that apprehension strips away, and the stronger emotions he had against Vergil took over. F**K YOU! Here's this asshole who caused all this stupid bullsh*t to happen! I find out that I had a family all along and this is what they're about!? I'm ending this! This game might have a linear story plot, but the music speaks volumes about characters and their motivations.

@AS-bu9rw it triggers instantly with DT and I think its either your combo rank or vergils health that also triggers silver bullet if u dont DT

I like this version so much more so that I don't even DT in the fight only to hear it longer

Thank you. All the other versions have this absurd almost minute long moment of silence at the start or end to soon. Much appreciated. I wish you could redo the fight with just this song playing the entire fight to really hit home that emotional moment. But even with Devil Trigger remix thrown in, it was still epic asf! Both are good songs.

I mean, the fight easily CAN be only this, assuming you never pop DT. As far as I know, the song only enters the remix portion when you do so, otherwise it stays as the violin.

@@InfiniteEscuro I don't think so. I've been playing the final mission a lot, and the remix part always comes in with or without activating your DT. I have taken Vergil's 1/4 of health bar or more without activating DT and the remix part always play

@@kanganep3008 Interesting, considering it is also set to activate when you do DT. I would have figured that, seeing as no one's casually going to refuse to use DT as Nero, that the remix would've only been linked to that. I suppose removing a certain amount of health from Vergil also does it.

@@InfiniteEscuro 1st Devil Trigger in the fight or getting Vergil to 1/4 of his health triggers Silver Bullet. If you buster Vergil in his Sin Devil Trigger while you are also in Devil Trigger AND his doppleganger is close enough to him, Nero slams their heads together and it triggers the vocal version of Silver Bullet.
