@@bosscollection4578 another even easier method to complete secret mission 4 is to uquip kalina ann and spam normal shot so thos enemies will get knocked out of the platform

For elevator secret mission, use kalina ann(only if u already finished the game) Lock-on+jump once+normal shot(while using kalina ann)

Collecting all the blue orbs was a bonus game in itself. 😅

9:20 that was dope i was planning to do than with full dt but this is way cooler

If you're willing to be a bit patient with secret mission 4, there's an even easier way to beat it once you acquire Kalina Ann from Lady in mission 16. It easily does the job in killing enemies as quickly as possible in that mission while also being able to knock them off the platform as well with very little effort besides just grouping the enemies up a bit. Much less execution heavy than trying to line up and spam trickster up the walls as well as being resource-friendly if you don't want to spend orbs on devil stars.

​@@bosscollection4578if you're talking about the elevator one where the enemies are in Devil Trigger (one of the few times this happens when NOT on DMD), you can also use the DT Explosion but for that to work, you better have a MASSIVE amount of devil stars

​@@bosscollection4578if you don't have enough devil stars for secret mission 4, I recommend playing Bloody Palace because the longer you survive in the mode until either you beat it or something kills you, the more red orbs you get

Having played devil May cry 5, I still think this game is better!

Personally, my favorite secret mission is number 5. It's a great way to farm orbs.

I even replayed every secret mission and orb spots and still missing 1 orb

Yeah that one requires retries, if you haven't cleared it yet wait for mission where you'll be in Devil Trigger mode throughout the mission (i think it's mission 12) this is the easiest way to clear this secret mission.

For the blue orb fragment in secret mission #6, which Dante costume did you use? I saw someone do it with Super Dante, but is there another way?

It can be done with any costume (the super costumes makes it easier since devil trigger meter won't decrease), at first it may seem difficult but with time you'll realize it's a simple secret mission. If you wanna do it without a super costume (like i did) buy some devil trigger stars and don't save; go through the mission until you reach the secret mission and practice there, reset when needed.

CAN ANYONE TELL OTHER WAYS OF GETTING THE CHAPTER 9 BLUE ORB THAT NEEDS TRICKSTER? Love the video man, but I just hate having to level up other styles to get a orb, I use royal guard and even managed to win that secret elevator mission with it but this jump is triggering me

U can use (lvl 1) trickster to run up the wall, then air-hike into the hole

The Nintendo Switch version is the only 'console' way which has this feature, you can do that through a mod but only on the PC version.

@@bosscollection4578 Ah, I see. I know that in Devil May Cry 4, you could switch up styles mid game. It would have been nice if 3 had that feature from the get go. In any event, your guide has actually been a big help. Definitely useful for finding all the orbs.

If you don't want what Gods Must Die is, it's a mode where not only do ALL enemies spawn in Devil Trigger the whole time but I think the ability to use items is removed and there's no healing items at all

i have just about all of them all i need is the combat adjustment in mission 17 with Beowolf i came close a few times to finishing it but i suck at trying to get a long combo in this game....not gonna lie its starting to piss me of

For the last one on mission 18 for doing all of the bosses do you have to beat all bosses to proceed or no because I’m missing one

Nah, in order to proceed through the mission and finish it you need to only form a circle through connecting the gems together (you only need to defeat 3 bosses) but for the blue fragment to appear you have to go through all the bosses and defeat them.

I did everything and still missing one more orb

Secret mission 6 is the most stressful. 🤪

Hello friend, actually I'm playing the Nintendo Switch version, it's the only console version that has the Style Switcher option, if you're on PC there's mods that let's you use Style Switcher.

hi friend, if you're trying to only platinum the game and then move on, then it's not that hard it's actually pretty straightforward. here's some tips for that: 1. obviously start the game as Dante first and choose Gold instead of yellow. 2. don't venture into the Bloody Palace until you get the Sparda costume. 3. don't be afraid to use items esp on higher difficulties (don't worry much about mission rank as you'll be redoing it once you get the super costumes anyway). Now if you're trying to be better at this game then here's some tips: 1. learn enemy attack patterns (it's difficult at first but it'll be easier over time). 2. practice combos, there are plenty of places to practice (like mission 3 and mission 7). 3. there's a secret move that is not mentioned in the tutorials, hold the devil trigger button and you'll see that DT orbs starts to turn red, once fully charged release the button for a DT wave that will cause a massive damage to enemies and bosses, use this move wisely. 4. learn jump cancelling (it's the very definition of DMC), this technique will get you way into mastering this game (and any DMC game after it). 5. leave the RoyalGuard style to last, it's so difficult to master it, master other styles first. if anything comes to mind i'll update this comment for more tips

The devil trigger orbs can only purchased via the Divinity Statue or at the beginning of each mission.

It's a skill tied to the weapon Nevan, you have to purchase it first to be able to fly.

Assuming you mean SM6, Vergil only needs Dark Slayer lv.2 though having full devil trigger meter certainly helps.

Ohh that’s the nintendo switch version on DMC3 which has the style switcher option and the ability to utilize all the weapons and guns at will. If you’re on PC you can install a mod which allows you to have similar features, all the other versions of DMC3 on other consoles don’t have them.

Hi again, i know that you think having the ability to circle through all 5 weapons and all 5 guns is great, but believe me when i say it's frustrating, I think if they added the option to choose which weapon to equip then that would've been awesome, though the Style Switching feature is really great.
