बहुत खूब! जलेबी मीठा है। प्रकृति ने प्राण दिया प्राणी जने, मनुष्य दिया और सबसे उपर "मन" दिया। कुछ सुलझे मनुष्यों के मन ने सत्य को सीधे उजागर करने के जगह पहेलियाँ बुने और उन पहेलियों ने भारत को धर्मांधत्व दिया। यह पहेलियाँ जलेबी की तरह है, इन पहेलियों को जो पूर्णतः सुलझा चुका होता है तो वह निडर हो जाता है, वह सीधे बोलता है पर पुनः पहेलियाँ नहीं बुनता। वैसे साबजी को कोई विशिष्ट मोक्ष की प्राप्ति हुई है, तभी तो साहब जी का मांग है, "मेरा किताब खरीदो, और दो, और दो.."। पर पांडाओं के तर्ज पर दुसरों को बोल रहे हैं, "दान करो"। Old wine in new pack.

Its all up to you what you see. It will always be different than others. This is the only reason people still find all there stories fascinating cuz people keep coming explaining same story with different point of views 🙏*

Well said. He once was asked where will you put the Ramayan in a library, in history or mythology and he answered beautifully, wherever you put the Qurran and Bible, put it over there.

Very intelligent man, he can demolish any one with argument, facade is stuck to face, he believes in his own shit beautifully

When you can't answer a question then just just tweak the question, that's what he did on multiple occasions. Although it was a great discussion, very insightful.

What I like about him is that he is not Obsessed with any Character he is very clear on his thoughts and he strongly believes what he knows .Good Quality and great Personality

Itne padhe likhe aadmi mein itna ahankaar kaise hai ye samjh nahi aata bas. I have been reading him and have been watching his shows/interviews for few years now. He repeatedly says that he is gyaani and cannot debate/argue with agyaani.

I am not a knowledgeable person at all but I sense some Ahankaar in him. He might have accumulated a lot of information from all the sources available but can he truly claim to be as knowledgeable as he projects himself to be? And most of the time he interpret things based on his information which viewers consider to be facts. I appreciate the way he views things but I can be totally wrong here this is how it feels when I hear him. But good that lallantop interviewed him.

very true..while he is speaking I feel that somewhere he is putting a mask on his face so that layman cannot see a true face behind. Talking about his knowledge..I think he has zero knowledge of philosophy and Sanskrit moreover u can spot more than 15/16 errors in this 2 hr of interview.

Like many people, he is a bundle of good and bad. What he preaches is good. What he practices is bad. He is a trader as he admits to trading Sarswati for Laxmi. His books are a fad currently, so good opportunity for him to monetize, but this will fade with time and some new fad will take over. He repeated many times that he was very good at the sales of pharmaceutical products and now he is very good at interpreting Hindu scriptures, but I see him still plugging his books on this platform still as a pharmaceutical products salesman. Hindus are generous. Therefore, he can take liberty with their scriptures. I challenge him to interpret the Quran, which I am sure he has read as he claims to read about many other cultures' books.

Don't judge , don't argue ...if you can get the answer of even a single true question of your life in this deliberation your watching it is a success. You heard arrogance reverberating in his talk I take it as a simple fact shared simply may be we don't talk about our achievements fearing people will think us to be immodest hence he sounds arrogant to us , may be we have not got over our arrogance and he has and the arrogance we sense in his talk is a reflection of our own ...who knows my friend for everything is Maya

Yes. It's okay to say "I don't know" sometimes. I felt the same when the guy asked question that why Balram, Laxman or Hanuman were needed as helper. He clearly did not give the good and relatable answer.

@@hemendrapratapsingh4156 If we go by what he said earlier about Dharshan of a god, we can apply the same rule when it comes to Laxman or Balram. It's all in our perspective and what we interpret them to be. In another interview of him, He also states that we relate with a god, depending on how we feel at a point of time, like laxman feels anger most of the time, and a lot of people relate with him when they themselves feel angry. Mahadev stays disconnected to the real world, stays in tapasya..... and a lot of people can relate to him when they don't wanna feel interrupted and keep doing their own thing..... Also, If it's all in the interpretation, then anyone can interpret a god's actions according to what they feel. Laxman was rightfully angry and maybe we can understand and take lesson from that as well. just my thoughts when the person asked that specific question....

At many places Devdatta ji does not tackle queries upfront but it's good that he is open for the discussion

I think he was not their to answer or tackle questions, he was their to share his vast knowledge and bring people in that room to his level of understanding. But unfortunately few people missed the whole meaning of discussion and kept asking same questions out of their skewed perspective or rather some region/north centric questions based on different versions of Ramayana written. I might be wrong please feel free to correct me, I will learn something 🙂

Answering questions is the main ask of the guru (as he calls himself a guru and gyaani), humility is the least we can expect from him - unfair to accept his greatness without questioning. He doesn't allow anyone to comment on his facebook posts as well, why so? if he is really passionate about knowing the truth and helping people go that route, then he should be more open that just worrying about buying a flat in bandra (was too shallow of an argument even if used as a lighthearted comment).

सौरभ जी नमस्कार. बाबा विश्वनाथ की भस्मारती?? मेरे सीमित से ज्ञान के अनुसार, बाबा विश्वनाथ की तो पाँच आरतियाँ ही होती है- मंगला, भोग, संध्या, शृंगार और शयन आरतियाँ. भस्मारती तो मात्र महाकाल की हो देखी है, उज्जैन में. अगर मैं ग़लत नहीं हूँ तो आप confuse हो गए महाकाल से और आपके सामने बैठे देवदत्त भी रौ में बोलते चले गए. वे ज्ञान समझाते समझाते अपने ego को छुपाते हुए भी face expression पर दंभ को नहीं छुपा पाये. मेरे विचार से अभी तक के “guest in the newsroom” का सबसे कम अच्छा episode होगा. भविष्य के लिए शुभकामनाएँ. 🙏

Devdutt sir has been a part of multiple conversations on twitter where then he had blocked a few people. He is a limited learned pretending to be erudite in old literature. सारांश वेदों में छिपे ज्ञान को लोगो तक पहुंचाने के लिए रामायण और महाभारत जैसी कहानियां सुनायी जाती है ताकि लोग जीवन जीने के तरीके को तलाशें l इनको पंचम वेद कहते हैं - कहानी के माध्यम से ज्ञान का प्रसार इसलिए, जब भी कोई कहानी सुनो या कुछ देखो तो उसका कारण ढूंढो, ना कि उसपर लड़ाई करो l राम भगवान नियम पर चलते हैं, कृष्ण भगवान नियमों को तोड़ते हैं, ये दोनों अपने अपने नियम स्थापित करते जा रहे हैं इसी प्रकार दुर्योधन भी हमेशा नियम पर चला लेकिन उसको राम का दर्जा नहीं मिल सकता, और रावण भी जीवन भर का नियम तोडता रहा, लेकिन उसे कृष्ण का दर्जा नहीं मिल सकता क्यूकी वो लोकहित में नहीं है l दुनिया केवल एक दृष्टिकोण से नहीं चल सकती क्योंकि संतुलन बनाने के लिए समय पर अलग अलग विचार आते रहे है l जैन धर्म के लोग इतने सफल हैं क्योंकि वे अनेकांतवाद की बात करते हैं- सभी के विचार अपने आप में सही है बस अलग अलग है l लक्ष्मी आनी चाहिए, वो भी अपनी इच्छा से, जोर जबरदस्ती से नहीं, इसके लिए सरस्वती हासिल करो l दुनिया को राजा नहीं चाहिए, तपस्वी राजा चाहिए l सिर्फ महात्वकांक्षा की बात मत करो, संतोष प्राप्त करने के बारे में भी सोचो, दान देने से संतोष मिलेगा l योगी होने का क्या अर्थ अगर वो भोगी की मदद ना करे वैसे ही भोगी का क्या अर्थ जब वह योगी को मदद ना करे l जलवायु परिवर्तन की समस्या, अध्यात्म की ओर जाए बिना हल हो ही नहीं सकती l

This is the best ever interview i have watched. Devdutt Pattanaik is full of real and true knowledge. His way of describing things is so simple and intriguing. Any religious baba is flop in-front of him cause he speaks with rationale and reasoning 🙏👏

The man who distorts the scriptures according to his convenience because he knows people unable to get hold or read the original ones will read the bullshit he presents in the name of mythology which is actually History has no rights to represent our country on any platform . Yet , I am hardly surprised to see people falling for his work especially the youth because in the times of reels and shorts ,they want things at their doorstep and people like him use this opportunity to deliver their agenda.
