This is Part 1/5 of Yayati, Devayani and Sharmishta’s story. Kacha is a disciple of Shukra, hoping to learn the precious knowledge of Sanjivani. Shukra’s daughter, Devayani, is in love with Kacha. Kacha owes her his life but he has no romantic feelings for her, this spells the end of their friendship and a curse for the beautiful Devayani.
