He had the clutches replaced, gear boxes are rubbish in these cars, probably installed wrong

Gutted for you Calv, its a shame you got lumbered with all of these issues and a big bill. I hope future POD purchases are going to be the sort of cars that you would choose as stock, and use the revenue to smarten them up instead of having to get them roadworthy and safe first 👍

I wonder how much extra buissiness Calvin has given vrs. Hopefully a lot because they are very good. If I lived within 30 or 40 miles I wouldn't go anywhere else. Finding a garage with that level of knowledge who can do anything is well worth an hours drive to a car lover.

Let's face it he will be chuffed with the extra attention to his channel - cue a follow up video from Ben capilitising on it. I find it hard to believe he wouldn't have known about the wheel and he definitely would have known about the paddle - sounds like he's even had a go at fixing it before. He also casually forgot to mention about the deer impact until he was asked about it. I get it with a normal sale but if you're going to expose yourself by selling it to Calvin then it's best to be super honest, and he wasn't. The whole thing just stinks.

He is very young and might not be as good with cars as he thinks. But like you said that is an awful lot of problems not to have known about especially the paddle shifter and oil leaks . Calvin seems a really decent bloke I don't think he'd say anything bad about anyone
