Been a subscriber for a month even though I’m a Ford fan. What do you think about Dodge using components from Lucid (best motors, inverters) proven parts?

New sub, I have watched several of your videos, very informative ! I’m 72 years old, have owned Dodge and Plymouth all my life owned 72, two 74 challengers 72 cuda, the cuda was completely restored and set up for drags racing with a 340 ran a strong 11-40 in the quarter mile, now in my old age I purchased a 2022 challenger gt and I love it. I can’t understand why stelantis is dead set on destroying a historical brand like Dodge and Mopar, sure wish Ford or Gm would buy out Dodge and Ram and keep it alive but I am sure that will never happen while we wait for the slow death of great company die in the hands of a overseas company. Sad very sad.

Love your vids rubix. Devastating for Dodge indeed, but not for consumers. Nobody wants this ev euro garbage. They would be better off scraping the whole concept. Stellantis thinks these will sell, they should sell them in France and Europe only. Only do ice chargers here in America and make a bunch of cheap Chinese tiny evs to offset. And these automatic hatch problems are nothing compared to what's coming. These cars will be recalled daily lol

Dodge started too late! If Dodge had at least a high power Hybrid in 2010? The company would have had more engineering to develop an EV.

@@JRLL81_ I’m saying with the Hemi engine with a hybrid would have kick started the brand. Ford and Toyota had hybrid’s then. I for economical reasons drive a 2013 C-Max hybrid. After a moment you don’t miss going to gas stations 1-2 times a week.

Seems I may be the minority, but it sucks they're screwing up the EV Charger so bad. EVs are only gonna get better and they're already miles ahead of ICE when it comes to speed. The problem is that Dodge isn't really trying. They didn't even bother to make their own platform. If they had a quad motor setup like the Rivian R1T, they could easily get a 2.5 sec 0-60, with maybe a 11 sec 1/4 mile. But instead they're wasting money on a 3rd party platform and a stupid speaker so that it still goes vroom vroom. I had hopes when they announced it, but it seems like it's going to be just another cheap, shitty EV, so Dodge can get some clean energy credits, like most of the major car manufacturers are doing.
