I feel like the Q&A is heavily scripted, they already had pre-planned updates for it and just designed questions for it. What I want to see is a enhancement calculator similar to Genshin Impact. I know there are other 3rd party ones out there, but it'll be nice if HSR also had their own in Hoyolab, along with the Trailblaze power info similar to the widget for Genshin. It'll let us keep track of TB Power without having to log on into the game. I guess, the same for expeditions, it'll be nice to be notified when it's done so that we can immediately send them out again.

The Marking of Sources for what mobs drop what will be so huge! Looking like a lot of good QoL in 1.1! Can't wait! I am one of those crazy people that does the map route every day to kill all the mobs especially after I hit TL50+ cause I need more credits, so decided to make it part of my daily routine. I agree on your gear set suggestions. There should be build sets to switch gear between characters.

According to Prydwen's Honkai Star Rail daily farming guide: "Doing the full route gives ~28k experience per character (~114k for whole team) which translates to 38 Traiblaze Power saved per day (266 TP per week). Those numbers are for EQ2 (30-40 range) and we will continue to keep track of the experience gain for higher EQ". So 114,000 XP Per Day or 798,000 XP Per Week if done every day. This is equal to 39.9 Purple Books/266 Trailblaze Power per week at Equilibrium Level 2.

@@Tom-101 I've got no clue on EQ 3 and EQ 4 unforunately. I just hit TB50 yesterday so I'll let you know the rates for EQ4 whenever I do my next run. The run really depends on how fast you can do it. I lucked out on Seele/Bronya so most fights end in the first four turns. Overall, takes about an hour to an hour and a half.

I need a back out of ult button the amount of times i accidently do one in the wrong order or accident press it on my keyboard is crazy. I would love a back out option

Sorry for my English. Having Sanctus Medicus like that, only works great if the game would take our choice into consideration. So, imagine if by siding with them and constantly hint that you want immortality (from Tingyun's messages, to let the leader escape) you get an Abundance MC, and then siding with the Xianzhou government would gave you a Hunt MC. But we all know that is not going to happen so yes... the placement is akward as a result. Because while showing the other side of the coin is interesting and needed in any conflict, since we lack control over what will happen, it would work best to show their side after you killed them to provoque remorse instead, and make you question your past choices.

So it is possible, but like you said, a can of worms. I always think that if they didn't went for the gacha route and took an offline single player approach, their games and their narratives would be unparalled. But again, it is not going to happen. Still, dreaming is free I suppose.

I'd like to see like a 1.2 speed mode. The current speed mode is way too fast and after using it the normal mode feels like slow motion. I just want like an in-between. And I agree on the thing with backing out of Ults. Certain times I'd like use them in reverse order and be like, "Dang I did that backwards!"

Agree, its a pain to go back and forth to discord, hell i ignored them for half a day because im playing star rail.. they did online too but i didnt realize it..

The game need another "middle" speed of combat animations - slow mode is like waiting on the wage and fast mode have speed of diarrhea, after you did ate menu for two persons in KFC alone 🤣 Also world chat is missing, in HI3rd you have world chat and its nice just talk, but I do understand, we are in 1.0 and we cant have everything on release.

Yes we do chat back in genshin a lot with my irl and internet friends. Since it’s mobile game it would be a hassle to open another messaging application just for us to communicate. Now with HSR my said friends can’t do it in-game cuz it’s not available. So yeah, it’s great that they’re implementing chat system so we dont have to constantly open another app just to communicate our bad rng 😅

Of course they want a chat system in Gacha game. How else can they get themselves sugarmommies/sugardaddies to pay for their pulls?

I would understand a chat if there was actually content to do with friends other than using their unit other then that I don't see the need. I fat finger ults so many times so definitely not just you. Glad you're feeling better!

Other than ultimate cancel, they should put "Auto Option" in this game, So we can make our unit use their skill and monster targeting more efficient, Cause some good unit become bad or even worse when they do auto battle, they just use their skill randomly... Alot turn base game already have this kind of thing already, i bet it wont be hard for a big game company like mihoyo to do this

x1.5 speed is what i really need

The biggest question, why is there no energy refill on level up? Sure it would stack up in the first few levels but after TL20~ish leveling up starts to slow down and by the time you reach 30 is more evident, when you reach 40+ is negligible what a single refill does for your leveling progress.

Ya they do these "questions" through genshins updates, im convinced they ask their own questions and not ones actually being asked.

I know the problem with the Ultimate, especially on the phone I sometimes fatfinger my way to an ult I did not want. BUT the way the are designed I don't think they will do it. It seems they took some hints from the "Trails"-series of games were Ultimates pretty much work the same. The only thing I could imagine would be a possibility of adding a prompt, asking if you want to use the Ultimate that you can turn on and off as you want. And the Sanctus Medicus story being shifted into Adventure Quests seems like the right thing to do, as it pretty much felt like it belonged there anyway.

navigating the UI, upgrading characters and lightcones on controller could use some work.

Tbh the ability to skip ult scenes altogether would be nice, and a lot of turn based games implement it

Things that should be addressed: 1. Adding a Guild System that gives you more rewards with non competition activities like a Raid Boss... also a chat system to go with said System 2. A Jump Button, just make higher invisible walls if needed and if we do get stuck we can always just use Teleport. 3. Backing out of your Ult - So many times I've pre-emptive pushed the Ult button and or fat fingered only to waste an Ult. 4. Just like the Teapot in Genshin, give us a room in the train we can decorate! 5. Adding a 1.5 Speed mode - Because after using double speed... jesus 1x speed is just far to slow like everyone is under water. 6. More ways to get rewards, like in Genshin they added the City Quests to rank up the city and got rewards along the way. Can do the same with each location.

@@fedrecedriz6868 Because it's an alternate way of getting somewhere without just walking even if it doesn't increase your speed. Like when I go around killing every enemy every day for free xp, it's nice to switch it up. Also, can't tell you how much I've just gone around town in say Genshin Impact just jumping around (no climbing). It surprisingly adds to a game. Also almost all streamers who started playing noticing they couldn't jump almost immediately... myself included

Seele's ult makes the screen flash when she's zooming towards the enemy, so I'm glad they're going to turn that down. It's a bit annoying.

Where is the rest of World 3, new game content, more quests? Mihoyo: "We can't give you all that. Here, take chat and go away"

They will give that in 1.1 patch after Jing yuan banner just like genshin and other gacha games

Honestly this game is a damn good 1.0 for a game where future updates is pretty much the model being followed. Seeing them respond to issues with the story tells me that they are really intending on improving the game too. All I really want is for some materials to be given more generously and others to be required in slightly smaller quantities just so free to play players don’t hit a wall in progression that makes the game stagnant on them.

I actually love and will not get tired of Seele's ult, hope it's an option in settings they would change and not her ult.

The best way to keep everyone happy is just to make a toggle for ults animations

i do it a lot Especially with Seele, i forget to get her buff from her Skill or i use it Before i proc her Rescurgence so yea it would be a nice QoL change but its kinda w/e, i also do it with Natasha's Ult a lot and then i'm like oh shit wait my teams like almost full health i don't actually need to use this XD

@@KyriosYuudai my bad, but adding a cancel one kills the challenge, customizing the buttons might help, maybe? like making them a little bigger might help so pressing them will be quite easy

actually true for the ultimate ESC and also i would have asked them why only 60 fps why i have to do something out of the game to get 120 i want the game to be more smooth :( and also i feal like those 120fps that i have are not real the camera is kinda slow

Its not a "you" problem, I used to think that I didnt have fat fingers till Star Rail, its been many times that I pressed R instead of 4 or 1 instead of 2 and fucked up my rotation

I have sensitive eyes and play on a 1000nit screen in a dark room, never noticed anything wrong with her ult, it's no more annoying than the slot machine animation... certainly not as bad as ToF's slot machine animation. Sure hope this just gives the option to turn off ult animations/voicelines

skill issue tbh. if you know your characters and team comp and how they works then it won't be a problem. if you made the mistake of misclicking your ult then be careful of pressing them next time. it simply just a small challenge to players that plays this game and not just play it like a braindead.

8:10 when you use a Control to play on PC you have a botton to stop the game and select the ultimate, i never use again the Keyboard to play.

​​@@KyriosYuudai indeed, using a controller, you need to use 2 button input for me it's RT + A/B/X/Y. While pressing RT, you gain ZAWARUDO (timestop), with that you can decide whether to ult now or later or use the S.U reso atk. Massive help

Wow they would actually alter the main questline like that. Just goes to show how much they value the story and narrative in this game. Its just absurd. Mad respect. As for canceling ults, I think a better idea would be to bind it to a double key like shift+number, much like how it works on controller. Using (or misusing) your ult SHOULD impact whether you win an encounter or not

if these developer commentary/updates are anything like Genshin's...just prepare to be disappointed lol. Genshin's never talk about anything important and are extremely infrequent.

The ult one is just skill issue like c'mon this is the only one of the few part of the battle where you have to use your brain, i like it this way and not playing it like a braindead

I'm my opinion nothing is wrong with seele ultimate.....

Of course, this is not the player base asking their questions only one of those questions was about quality of life the rest are just astetic. First of all, why give us a chat and not a guild system or a boutien hunter system where you can invite friends to help you take out epic enemies? What's the point of talking with someone if you can't do content together and strategize in chat? And speaking of content, where is it? We got new content today that literally took me 5 minutes to complete. Their little stuff you can do has a f2p player to earn coins to summon Even the monthly web rewards are bad; you don't even get tickets or enough coins to do a monthly 10 pull. I think they should really listen to the players and not some guy in their company.

The rewards / credits / jades and materials are very lackluster without spending more trailblaze power or money , genshin yes didnt had these issues at first because of exploration and you could sell artifacts, just farming artifacts over and over at AR45 yyou could sell them and get like 500.000 or something like that. In this game salvaging only gives you XP and this is maddening :| i would rather farm relics than using power on Credits its so bad design...

Genshin Prime gaming has always been stingy as hell so it was to be expected. Compared to League of Legends for example, where you get a bunch of paid currency, boosts, and a skin every single month.

some people just like seeing big numbers and to them one shotting bosses is fun (tbh i relate to that feeling feels good to 1 shot a boss that ive been struggling so much to beat back then)

Plus, if you use a controller on PC, you can hold the trigger down, and it completely stops the battle at any point. So theirs absolutely no reason not to be able to back out of an ulti.

They should've asked, why the hell do you have to sacrifice 10 gold relics for 1 measly relic back. Literally scam and dumb if you would do that. The item to select the main stat is mega rare and only available through hitting lv40 with the BP. Man this is such a bad designed thing.

I do hope they make it an option to keep Seels ultimate the same if some players like it. I don't have a problem with it and it would suck if they changed it for the worse and I was stuck with it.

Yeahh i need to chat in game, because its a pain to go back and forth to discord, and the notification didnt work when i play game so…

60 jades only? Easy skip. If they want to incentivize people to do things, they gotta stop being stingy with the currency.
