I recently finished the game with the DLCs for the first time. I keep coming here because of how happy this scene makes me and how sad and depressing it is for what is to come.

God, what they both said was a bit heart wrenching. The notion that they do care for each other deep down besides sarcasm, teasing and bickering, they’re friends for sure. This is assuming they’ll make a third game to round out the trilogy, I hope they both survive, I’m always down for more Pritchard in the future.

As sad as Cyberpunk's release was, I gotta say that I'm a little glad it turned out like that. The reason? Well, if it was the be all and all of the Cyberpunk genre, we may never have gotten a conclusion to this series. But now, there might still be a chance. Here's hoping.

Because from the first game pritchard was the only one who was an open book. Jensen and him did not get along but had to work together. As the game progress they start to get along even thought they never speak about it.

This game was not a great sequel to HR, but man this was ,as short as it was, a better game than Cyberpunk. Atleast this had an intriguing story and was following an interesting path. Cyberpunk had nothing.

Honestly, I like MD a LOT more than HR. I played HR when it first came out and could never bring myself to finish it. I ended up playing MD a few years after it's release and fell in love. I replayed HR afterwards since everyone kept saying HR was "so much better." I did end up finally finishing it, but it felt inferior to MD in so many ways. The story was better, but the combat and world exploration felt a lot worse.

@@Wheelioyou're right that gameplay is absolutely better in MKD. However, I do have a fondness for the story in HR, and I don't criticize the game as heavily for its mechanics, though archaic in comparison to its successor. That's mostly because I got into HR long before MKD ever came out, like in 2009, and at the time, that was one of the best games for Xbox 360, in my opinion. MKD just felt like a major upgrade mechanic wise. I wish the story didn't feel so fucking incomplete, but I bet that was Square Enix planning micro transaction bullshit with the rest of the story and other elements. That element of the gaming industry is getting out of hand.

"Old money trillionaire." This is what I disliked about Adam Jensen's games. It's like they try so hard to be as cheesy as possible. I know it's supposed to be slightly AU, but does it seem like they're trying to drift the furthest from the present day reality as they possibly can, even when its the closest to the present day? The richest man in the world doesn't even have a networth of $200 billion in 2023. Even Bob Page is referred to as a billionaire in Deus Ex. EDIT: Also if he's "old money" and "more skilled at breaking even than making a profit", that would imply he inherited his trillions, which makes even less sense.
