Delara wasn't talking about Jensen going nuts at the train station and killing police. She was talking about the actual bomb attack. "I've seen the footage, but actually being there......." She's referring to the mental effects being in the middle of a terrorist attack would have had on Jensen's mental wellbeing.

@@Back2Life On human Revolution we learned that his DNA has been stolen by David Sarif in the name of his corporation Sarif Industries. So maybe his DNA might be Used to create another Adam Jensen. Or because he's a science project that altering human DNA to make it less likely to never reject augmentation technology when it's implemented into biological tissue. Maybe in that laboratory where he's been created, they also manage to clone himself either. Before laboratory is been destroyed of course. In another theory though; Did you guys remember the Human Revolution DLC where it occur in the Belltower military base where they kidnapping people to turn them into a computer part. At the end of the DLC, we realize that Engineer in that facility who helped us in the events is actually an anti Illuminati organization member. He and the anonymous hacker which we never saw his face the entire time in the DLC are talking about the potential we had. One of them says they might need Adam Jensen again and the other one tells him that "If he lives that long" at the end of the DLC. I am just saying maybe those people took Adam at the end of the Human Revolution and rescued him to create another backup or took his corpse and cloned him.

The way that Jensen just deals with these massacres with straight-faced one liners is just badass

I've fallen in love with this game and actually am doing the hardcore mod on it now but if you think about his position.... he's basically a god compared to many with all those augs that would not only most ppl can't handle on top of that he doesn't need to depend on neuropozine (sp?) So if ur a guy working for a top agency trying to do good in the world I'd feel like James Bond and feel like "who the hell is ever gonna tell me what to do 😂

Loved the way these games let you be a violent maniac to the detriment of your mission. It adds this uncomfortable feeling in the workplace, like everyone just barely tolerates Jensen because he's the lesser evil.

⁠I mean this series soft reboots after 2 games in a row. Yet the legacy still holds, indie immersive sims like gloomwood are evidence for that. Also this intellectual property has a strong devoted fanbase; and the themes of these games become more relevant. These facts support the possibility of future deus ex games. Square Enix doesn't feel good so far, maybe they can sell it to someone more competent in this sphere. System Shock remake somehow happened, and was financially fine; who knows, maybe deus ex remake is possible too.

Butter Butt no,no duclare’s an old woman besides she does refer to her as “Elizabeth” and if she we’re duclare herself that would be weird because,why would she speak in 3rd person.

The funny thing is you get the same dialog if you knocked out the cops too.

Stupid how if you incapacitate a couple of guards without anyone seeing, they will still accuse you of attacking them.

In Human Revolution there was just as much mention of your actions if not more, like pritchard calling you "Attila the Hun" or "Mahatma Ghandi" even in some of the side missions in Detroit someone commenting on your body count if you were the type to kill without remorse Lol I hope we get another Deus Ex game in the near future, tie in the original while wrapping up the story of MD

Yeah, I liked that comments were made about the approach you decide to take, but it was a bit weird sometimes. I mean at Ruzicka, I didn't get spotted once, and I took ONE police dude out with a non-lethal takedown. I got the exact same speech from Aria as you did, for slaughtering everyone. Not exactly immersive.

Can confirm, at Ruzicka if you non-lethally take out any cops, the cops report on an augmented terrorist inflicting casualties (note that it won't affect Pacifist if you want that achievement). Actually, it does make sense - the cops probably feel humiliated (since those non lethal takedowns would probably result in long hospital stays LOL) and want to exaggerate things to rile up anti-Aug feelings among the population. The only way to avoid triggering that news report is to do a total-avoidance approach. There's actually a convenient shortcut from the bathroom (in the non-restricted area of the station) all the way to the desk where the evidence is, though you may need a few aug upgrades to access it.

I mean, non-lethal takedowns are basically putting dudes into a coma. Those are casualties; they may not have died, but they maintained serious injuries.

It wasn't a real question, it was a statement of shock. You can say something like that to say "I'm in such disbelief you'd do something like that that I have to ask even though it's otherwise obvious", which can make the follow up question weird if you don't understand what she's saying.

Brilliant editing

Delara is my favorite character. The whole intrigue and thrill are nullified by her first appearance. She basically screams "Hydra Dominatus" at you.

I remember if you flip a power box somewhere in the ventilation, it would electrify a puddle of water and kill an officer and trigger the terrorist dialogue even if you chose to be stealthy. Like, why tf is there a lethal interaction in the route you take for a stealthy play style? The worst thing is you will hit it out of curiosity and have absolutely no idea what you just did

Tbh that's something that's always in deus ex. A lot of the time i activate or deactivate stuff i don't know about. I guess you can just savescum to get what you actually want since the game is sometimes very confusing about what you're activating.

Did anyone else get the Aria reaction to the train station mission even if you didn't kill anyone? Happened to me on my playthrough. I was so confused.

I didn't kill anyone, only knocked them out, but I still got this dialogue.

Jensen: **talking about why he kills people as if he had no choice** Me: *B L O O D F O R T H E B L O O D G O D*

Nope. The conversation changes if you do not get ghost on those missions. If you are seen even for a moment and KO all of the enemies you still get the conversation that you killed all of them.

I don't see how a man quite brutally punching out the airways of someone to non lethally take them down, on a bombsite, isn't meant to be interpreted as a terrorist attack

Why do I never get any of these cool kill takedown cutscenes? No matter my Augs or upgrades or what I do, I get the same vanilla kill cutscenes where he stabs the foot when crouching or chest stab when standing. What am I doing wrong?

Daria says that no matter what you do since she's referencing to the bombing but I think taking it out of context in this video really made it a lot more entertaining.

You shouldn't feel bad for killing ANYONE in this game, everyone is augmented hating and even if Jensen is trying to be polite or civil they still give you shit and try to downcast you and your actions, so after getting some augmentations I immediately cleaned every officer and thugs that were in the cities, only the merchants and some civilians that weren't openly hostile survived my playthroughs.

They were interfering with evidence collection. 👁👄👁

Wait, if I subdue the police with non-lethal methods at the bomb site, it somehow counts as “why did you attack the police”, even in self-defense? I’m cool with having a “no-kill”order, but if I’m getting reprimanded for defending myself with non-lethal methods, instead of getting spotted, not fighting back and getting shot to shit, then it’d be a completely different play-through.

I never remembered takedown on 0:32 Is that received by reflexes upgrade augs?

Not normally. You can't do a takedown on an active exo-suit (not in the pc version, anyway). Need to disable with emp first (or they b*tchslap you into tomorrow).

@@chromedog68 I recommend the Elite Pistol with EMP ammo for that. Works wonders against anything tech, especially when fully upgraded with crafting parts and add-ons.

Got these reactions even though I was never seen and did non-lethal takedowns. I hear its to do with taking out the exosuit cop, which is a bit rubbish. I guess if you KO all the others and leave him, its as if you didnt kill anyone, but I cant confirm. As a sidenote, I like how even Miller agrees with you that the cops in Prague are corrupt as fuck - Fucking A is short for "Fucking Affirmative".

You get this dialogue if you do any sort of takedown or attack on the police. It's an easy level to ghost entirely without interacting with the police at all.

More like grandfather. It's set like 30 years prior to DE. JC Denton has nano-augments (Like Bob Page does at the end of this one). He's part of JC's lineage,though. Also a Versalife creation.
