Paul Stanley made an entire thesis about what a horrible drummer Peter Cris was....doesn't sound so shabby here. It's not like anyone in the band is a virtuoso to begin with.
You can never go wrong with old school kiss ...my God what a band.....
When Rock was Rock, and when concerts were concerts.
The greatest live album of all time.
Hard to emulate Peter criss
Play this as loud as possible. That's what rock and roll is all about.
One winter in the 70's I shoveled sidewalks so could buy this record!
Ace at his best
The most awesome album cover EVER!
I was fresh out of high school and 18 years of age when I got my hands on this LP back in 75. What a wake-up call. ACE FREHLEY IS A AMERICAN TREASURE!! 🇺🇲❤️
Love Love this classic!! It's 2024 and I have been a fan since 1974, listening to this kick ass band will never get old❤🎶
They play perfect and tight together. Gene, Paul Ace and Peter forever!
This song changed my life. This is the opening song on the “Alive” album. Before hearing this I heard nothing but what was in radio airplay at the time; Ambrosia, James Taylor, John Denver…etc…which are all exceptional, and I thank my mother for listening to that all the time. But this…THIS…was another world. Unexplored. And exciting as hell. I already played guitar…now I wanted to make these kinds of sounds. And the rest was my history.
True story: One day in the late 1970's, I came home from school and my mom said she was going to the mall. "Do you want anything?"
Greatest live album opener EVER, will never be surpassed
If this song doesn't get you going,I think your go button is broke!

I'm 8-9 years old listening to this album while playing with my star wars figures . Cemented in my brain for 40+ years !
First album i ever got back in 1977. I can still name all the songs in a row from start to end. 1973 until 1975 was KISS at its best.
