😢 that’s how we invest in our city look at our sign and that’s explain what the turmoil is. It’s so sad that you put a sign like that.😢 I thought the future was going to look good. It’s looking real sad. Please take that down and we do it bigger.
They should have put larger letters on a billboard. It needed to be elevated for full effect. It could also be seen from miles away.

That's not even Thomas the Tank Engine, to the right of that train was. But that is a red train. It's a different character.
I had not been back in 20 years. I knew I was there when I saw what looked like Berlin in 1945 and could hear gun shots 24/7. Driving through my old neighborhoods I felt naked without a handy weapon.
Also they love it; 'we' (being those that made the sign) love it because they know they pocketed a fuck ton of money off of it
Now let’s just hope people respect it.

I love the D-E-T-R-O-I-T sign ♥️🥰 and I agreed with her they could've have used the old english sign with the blue letters.

The Old English font is actually taken by the Tigers so there would’ve had to have been an agreement between the city and the team to have permission to use it.

Can't say it's 400,000 great especially for a couple of days. The super bowl and this NFL draft thing is like renting a corvette on the weekend and back to the jalopy on monday. We put on a front when the party's over we go back to nobody caring about the city.
You can please some of the people some of the time but you cannot please all of the people all of the time.

Funny how we only decode to make the city look nice when he have visitors lmao. I grew up in detroit until i was 8/9 and every person we knew in our area had the same goal. GET THE HELL OUT OF DETROIT
