How long a stinger do you like? Do you stick the stinger in the tail of the worm or just let it hang loose?

I like the stinger to be the same lentgh as the end of the plastic. I hook them into the tails but also will let them go freely to try something different

You tie braid directly to the jig?

I do both. One rod directly to jig, one with a snap swivel for faster jig change. Some people like a leader. I use the Palomar knot on both
