I have a 2012 Cascadia Freightliner today when I open up the door the dome lights comes on in the footwell light came on it would not go off I have the truck in the shop now I only had the truck for a week the def system is crazy I done 3 Park Regen since I had the truck in one week the mechanic put the computer on the truck he said I need a new sensor for my def he hasn't found out yet why the lights won't go out and what's up with the engine because the engine light came on laugh out loud it's been a crazy day and I know it's going to get crazier

active regen without drivers intervention so if im driving my 72 maverick next to a diesel and it goes into regen while im next to it.it happpens to have a side exhaust and cleans the paint off my car then what.??

I don't get it, how are we saving the environment by running truck more. Every time this system gets a repair you have to do a parked regen which runs the truck hot for an hour. I'm a mechanic and 90% of the time a truck is running it's due to the aftertreatment. The hours ive spent running a truck and going nowhere have quadrupled. How does that help anything. All this does is keep trucks off the road but they're still running, just now it's in the shop and nobody is making money off of that.

This is a peace of shit system how the fuk the engineer came up with this , I drive a 2012 cascadia have had tow regens don every 600 mile it a fuking joke , an each regen takes 45 min wtf is going on with this ppl ,that don't drive for a living Ditriod diesel 60 egr fuking night mare . Now this regen shit . I have being driving this truck for two weeks an its a night mare!!!!!!!!!! Do not I mean do not bye any dd15, dd14, bye Cummings ixs .
