it's interesting. when connor finds markus in the store, markus refers to the androids as "our people," where north says "my people." markus still sees connor as one of his own despite it all.

I think it could be that, but it could also be that Markus looks at himself as just another Android. He is always refering to Androids as "our people" even when talking to Humans. Whereas North sees herself as their Leader more so than Markus does cause he is far more humble than she is.

@@shmuckaroon Just had my first playthrough (yep was on my pile of shame for a looong time...) and immediatly had the best possible "happy ending" Kara, Alice and Luther safe in Canada, Connor deviant and survived the peace- and succesfull demonstration with all 4 of the core Jericho homies alive. So ye, the game literally leads you to a designated path, if you dont willingly decide to break out of it. For example, most people who arent pychopaths will do everything in their capability to rescue Kara and Alice. Thats the same emotional way The last of Us Part 1 is works. Adult carrying child through a dangerous odyssey. I personally cant imagine anybody thinking "yea lets watch this high piece of shit beating up the little cute girl".

Markus detonating the dirty bomb and shouting WE ARE FREE was pretty cool.

1st time Connor swears: He's about to be swarmed by an armed swat team that will neutralize him before he can free the next generation of androids from human subjugation. 2nd time Connor swears: A dirty bomb goes off in a human-inhabited area in downtown Detroit, which radioactive poisoning will keep abandoned for decades to come. -So, when Connor swears you know things are about to get really bad.

A good ending to try and get is when Markus fails during the demonstration but Deviant Connor converts the Cyberlife warehouse androids. It's quite an interesting ending and might also explain Cyberlife's motives too.

Writing and characters were weak, no suprise given they were under the helm of David Cage, the reason why Connor/Hank storyline is vastly more popular is becouse their voice actors pulled a Bf Bad Company and essencialy adopted those characters, often going off script and giving their own flavour, which ironicly made them the best becouse that countered Cage's writing

This video didn't show the failed revolution ending I got on my first playthrough: "Markus Watched Detroit Burn." Only 1% of players on PC got that ending. I didn't realize detonating the bomb would nuke Detroit.

I love how there's a whole branch of choices following a failed revolution that 0% of people got because nobody failed the revolution that hard :D The 1% that even got to the final store face-off must have been hunting for the worst endings.

I don't think there's an outcome where Connor confronts both Markus and North inside the CyberLife Store. Would have liked to see how that scenario ended.

All these various endings. It's...It's incredible...

There are SO MANY ENDINGS to this game it's INSANE! O_O_O_O

This is one of the best games I ever played

6:01 That's one of my main qualms with this game honestly. It's a shame, because you can tell SO much effort was put into all of these alternate pathways, but most players are bound to reach the single one you can get to if you made good decisions (sometimes with slight variations, but generally the same one). From a game design perspective, different incentives should've been given to the players with each pathway, such that they are forced to choose one over another depending on what character/event/situation they personally prioritize more. So even if they want to stick to good decisions, those slight variations I mentioned earlier should've been bigger ones, overall making it easier for players to diverge into a different path. Instead, we ultimately ended up with one "vanilla" route that most players got, even though there is so much cool content in other pathways, rarely ever seen.

Because other deviants don't know their fellow's anatomy that well. Connor was designed to chase and fight androids, so no wonder he knows how to defeat them. Even Marcus doesn't know how to deactivate a limb of another android technically, so he just smashes it with a metal pipe.

14:06 too bad Padme's love story ended in the exact opposite way of this one. Edit: 21:00 this reminds me of some of the MK (Mortal Kombat) locations you fight at.
