i got that Connor became deviant and brought another deviants more then 100000 of them from some big building, then surprise cut scene on very end Hank stood alone at that burger shop in snow then Connor came, they looked at eachother and they hugged. thats how it ended. im so glad it ended that way ^^

Another amazing thing about this game is how you can hear the same lines in a new context. When Connor spoke of cole’s death in the good ending he said it with empathy, here you can hear the distaste in connors voice

Even if Hank loses the fight, I'm impressed someone suffering from alcoholism at his age can hold their own against an advanced prototype for so long. Maybe they need to build Connor stronger.

K3VIN 116 well there are a lot of moments in the game where we can see that Connor isn't really so strong if he doesn't have a gun. If he has it he always wins (if qte is pressed right at least)

I love that Connor still has enough affection for Hank despite him choosing to still be a machine.

Well Connor showed a lot of deviancy even before he broke his programming walls, I guess Connor was deviant from the first time he decided to help Hank and not to do his job to pursie devinats. Those walls breaking was probably just him finally aknowledging it...At least that is my guess

Connor is the character who is affected the most by your decisions, for definite. You can make him remain a emotionless machine, or he can be something better. The other two become deviants with any decision you make, whilst for Connor you have to choose to become a deviant. It's pretty cool really.

This is a painful ending to watch... ;-; Especially after I saw all the development of the relationship between Connor and Hank following the path to the good ending and that scene after the credits that shows them hugging.

Oh, but Conner was just a mindless tool, without Markus, there wouldn't be a story Can't say the same for the other protagonists. Markus represents the perception of androids in the war, Conner and hank represent the perception of humans in the war, and Kara and Alice represent the effect that the war has on bystanders. Tbh, Conner isn't even all that intriguing, considering he literally had the same plot all throughout the story; hunt deviants. Sure there are side missions, but the objective is still the same. In some outcomes, he simply gets replaced and he is quite a predictable character, the only factual thing going for him is charm, courtesy of Bryan Dechart. On the other hand, we see Markus go through a tragic event of him losing his father ( in some scenarios) and having to quite literally crawl back from the dead. Marcus transforming into a conflicted, deviated revolutionary is what made this game have an amazing story concept. He affects the game in various ways. He's the physical interpretation of hope, courage, and bravery. Don't get me wrong I like Conner, but he's just not as impactful to the game as Marcus, so why do so many more people like him more?

It'd be cool if there was a special dialogue branch if Connor had deviated and was killed afterwards. If anything so Hank would know Connor had become human, maybe give him hope he could deviate a second time.

Also, there should be different option for every option of Deviant Connor being destroyed. When a SWAT soldier destroys him, Connor would show more signs of deviancy and would be "turnable" into a deviant a second time here. IF Connor was shot by Markus who didnt trust Connor however, Connor wouldnt be possible to turn and would want to assassinate Markus not only because of his mission but also for himself.

my god this game deserves an award simply for its soundtrack! Nima Fakhrara (the writer of Connor's soundtrack) needs so much more recognition, I watched a short about how he created the soundtrack and he was explaining how he used really old machines and instruments to get a robotic-like sound and style for Connor's theme, and it works really well. I was on edge this entire scene and I had to search up the individual soundtrack just to listen to it properly and now I can't listen to it enough! Kudos to you, Nima! (btw the song name for this score is 'Will you trust me')

I experienced this during my second playthrough This fight was so much more painful for me to see Hank fall off the roof after I tried to save him, I actively tried to make them bond throughout the game getting Hank's relationship to "Friend" and it shot down to "Warm" and my heart skipped a beat when it showed the red path unlocked I nearly lost at the end but tried to save him, setting down my control and looking back up at my screen to see him trying to push me off the ledge and I guess instinct kicked in. At least he was able to hold his own, Hank in his own right is still badass.

3 Years late but Connor also falls to his knees if gavin hits him in the stomach. Maybe it's part of a fake reaction program or something when humans hurt him. When he got shot in the shoulder by Daniel first mission he didnt react in pain, but Daniel is an android so maybe faking pain doesn't apply then. Who knows.

@@bruhmoment-wk4rr I know I’m a year late but Gavin hit Connor in the thirium pump which is right in the middle of an android’s stomach. Without the pump, they can’t function properly so it makes sense that Connor would be a bit winded after taking a blow there

Pain is just your body telling you something is wrong, id bet androids have something similar to it.

I can't imagine playing without making Connor become a deviant. Having the three playable characters break free and have a happy ending. Also becoming a deviant is the only way to help Hank with his sons death and his suicidal tendencies... because Connor becomes like a son to him only if he goes deviant.

A sad thing I just noticed was when Connor willingly dropped Hank off the building, his expression was grim as he looked down. But when he pushes him off after Hank's attempt to do the same, Connor's just shocked.

Gotta love how Connor struggled more with this fight here but absolutely destroys Markus flawlessly later on. (If the player decides to control Connor and successfully pass all the button prompts)

That only lasts until the "Leave" option. If you choose to attack rather than leave, all friendship is gone.

The thing is, it doesn't give You a choice with a friendly relationship (note, i said friendly, not friend) Warm = friendly. This is a blatant plothole, since You need to have some deviancy to have a friendly relationship with Hank. Also +RopeDrink not really, he likes You again if You save him in the end (He only kills You because You were trying to shoot Markus) and he actually says ''I didn't want to do that Connor, You left me no choice.'' I also have a feeling that if You turn deviant in the final chapter, Hank won't commit suicide. P.S I didn't choose to attack, the game automatically chose it.

Sorry, but for me someone like Hank would never be my friend. He is a dysfunctional lunatic with issues. When He suicided I was more sad for Sumo.

I like 9:43 the most. Beaten by a machine, but the human wins because he is underhanded.

1. 0:01 --- 4:07 Connor doesnt fight Hank (Both live) 2. 4:08 --- 7:59 Connor fights Hank and throws him off roof (Hank dies) 3. 8:00 --- 9:00 Connor spares Hank- but attempts to push him off roof 2nd time (Hank dies) 4. 9:02 --- 9:53 Connor fails to stop Hank from pushing him off roof (Connor dies) 5. 9:55 --- 11:11 Connor loses fight to Hank (Connor dies)

8:00 To me, this is the most powerful ending out of all the outcomes. The machine Connor outmatches Hank in every way so Hank makes one last attempt to make Connor realize that he can be human, he doesn't have to be this cold, heartless machine. Connor chooses not to kill Hank and saves him. For just a few seconds, Hank had hope that Connor listened to his humanity but that hope was crushed the way Connor's robotic, cold stare and tone replied to Hank before saving him and throwing him aside. Crushed and enraged, Hank makes one last attempt to stop Connor from being this heartless villain... But he failed as he falls off and his last sight was Connor's look of emotionless efficiency. ;--;

First time around I just put my controller down thinking “Awh that’s the end of the fight” then big bastard hank comes and just tackled me off a building. I genuinely screamed at my screen i was so angry I was trying to do a full play through without dying 😂

I love you Hank

What if the mission drove Connor to deviancy? He was just so sure he was right! It mattered because CyberLife WOULD kill him (he thinks?) and doing his job is the easiest way to continue functioning.

It breaks my heart seeing them fight, knowing that they could have been friends in a different choices.

This really is a nice video that show all the options.thanks!

I was really sad when Connor killed hank because they were partners for that long and now they’re going seperate ways

I wish that there would be a scene, where Connor realize that deviants just want Freedom after all that Hank said to him, all that thing he saw/heard before and become deviant now, not only with Marcus.

Well there is a second option when Markus is peaceful and Connor is about to shoot Markus from the crowd and Connor defuses to do it.

All I wanted was to be a badass detective android who cared for humans while having 0 empathy for androids, but it ended up shit this scene. 1. Hank goes from Warm to hostile despite me using friendliest dialogue possible. 2. Hank did not manage to turn Connor into a deviant. 3. Saving Hank still results in Hank's death. Honestly, even the ending here sucked. I was trusted by Amanda, and Marcus succeeded at being peaceful. I ended up in the scene where Connor is about to shoot Marcus right after Hank's death pretty much. Since there didn't seem to be any cool moments left I some fucking how had the choice of not killing Marcus despite not being a deviant, which I took. This leads to no closure with Connor at all. I wish they had wrote Connor some other endings.

I wonder how that surgeon android messed up the operation! Aren't they supposed to be better at this than humans?

No no no no no! Hank is my second favorite character. He can't die. He must live. Connor must be deviant.

Thanks for all of the outcomes in this scene.... The rifle/assembling it sounded like a toy's though :o (they should have get an authentic gun sound effects)

Zerus Zephuros Ah, it isnt so bad for a gun with lots of plastic parts. The barrel clicking in doesnt make any sense though, that shit would de-zero it everytime

This scene shows how Hank is much stronger than 4 Swat guys trying to arrest Connor in second scenario.

You have to pick up his son's photo in Russian Roulette and maintain a positive relationship with Hank leading up to the rooftop.

Does anyone realize Hank has above average human strength?

I think the massive Cyberlife advert behind them was a metaphor for how, even though it was so obvious his kind were being treated as salves, Connor was oblivious to this because his only goal was to accomplish his mission, so he didn’t think wether or not completing his mission was the right thing to do.

Machines are not designed to think. They should obey comands humans make. Cyberlife operatives wanted him to kill the deviants and so he does. His "kind" doesnt exist as they are not any species and they are not slaves but tools.

The music in these scenes... this is the only song from whole Connor's soundtrack which actually makes me wanna cry :/

Well yes, if android murders people out of fun it should be deactivated. If it happens to kill human because it feels scared or its life is threatened that's slightly different.Well it mostly depends if human society will aknowledge androids as a part of functioning society or if they still will be just like other machines.Pluto (japanese manga) takes andorids and human living together extremely good. In that case they were basically let to live alongside humans, could have jobs, families, homes etc. They had (I think) basic rights. They were forbiden to kill humans or have weapons but it was also crime to kill androids.Perfect androids would always be imperfect because if they are made to be humanlike they would make human mistakes...

The way hank falls at 8:34 makes me laugh for some reason

"Just a machine" When he said that his processor was red, and he said it with a bit of emotion in his voice. Was he showing deviancy here expecting Hank not to kill him.

as someone who got the best ending with these two, and this fight, I felt so much pain when Connor mentioned Hank's son in such an awful manner, and Hank's response as a fight against Connor and not a way to connect with Connor. This whole fight fucked me up

I laughed my ahh off when connor throws his sniper at hank 😂
