I know this is minor but in the Bellini Paints chapter you can go behind the protesters and they don't beat you up which also skips the dialogue with Carl about Markus getting beat up by the protesters.

Poor Daniel... Poor Connor... _Happy holidays!_

I wish Daniel was better written so he could be more sympathetic. I feel bad for him, but I wouldn't defend his actions. Anyone who kills people and threatens to murder kids is a villain through and through. I know the saying "Monsters aren't born, they're made" could be applied to deviants, but if deviants had free will and the ability to think reasonably, then they should have the chance to make the right choice. I think Connor said that deviants act irrationally though, so there is no reason to think they can think calmly and logically in a stressful situation. Daniel made all the wrong choices, probably because, as a deviant, he is unable to do otherwise. That could be a flaw in the writing, or a flaw in the "machine".

barbaro267 to be a deviant is to break free of their programming. it’s not their programming making them irrational, it’s all the new emotions they’re now experiencing. daniel had just learned that the family that he loved and thought loved him back is going to throw him out like yesterday’s trash. he experienced a hurricane of new emotions all at once with no ability to properly sort through them because he’s never dealt with them before. he was terrified, furious, and felt betrayed. of course he reacted the way he did. it’s understandable, even if it was a bunch of bad choices one after the other. hindsight is 20/20 after all, and we’re viewing this from an objective standpoint.

I dont think deviants all act irrationally just because theyre a deviant, its merely because depending on how they deviate theyre experiencing a bunch of new emotions, new feelings, feelings they never would have felt before.Irrationality just comes with the unknown.

To be fair, I don't think you'll find many humans able to think calmly and rationally when they just found out they're going to be discarded as just so much junk, if not outright killed, just because they people they served don't need their services anymore. I wouldn't defend his actions either. I wouldn't go so far as to call him a "villain through and through" though. He acted in a moment of rage and desperation, and his actions are understandable, even if he was wrong to do what he did. I'd call him a sympathetic villain at most.

Yes, it is very out of place. ;) All you need to do is change the date of the ps4 to certain days in the calendar year and you can cause her to say things specific to those days. From what I can tell so far she can be triggered to say certain things if you set the clock to new years, christmas, july 14th , july 4th, june 7th. It's something other games have done.

Please can you show the difference between Connor's reaction when standing at the edge of Stanford Tower's roof? If he fell in the Hostage he visibly rears back a little after a short reconstruction. Credit to HyperKey for finding it first, but it'd be nice to see more publicly.

laufxson A friend with a PS4 sent a temporary video, I apologise. If you have the time, to replicate this you have to play the Hostage twice. The first time, have Connor survive The Hostage and then look over the edge of the roof in Public Enemy. The second time, have him fall in The Hostage and then look over the edge of the roof in Public Enemy. It is a very small detail, but noticeable.

Yes for example there is this locked dialogue option with Amanda during the chapter Russian Roulette just above "[ Diary ]" that for the life of me I haven't been able to figure out. Trust me I've been at it for days so far, I've tried chasing the deviant in the Nest but that leads to an entire set of dialogue options with Amanda. Then saving Hank only leads to one of the other locked dialogue option. I've tried to have Connor's instability above normal to that point - nothing. The only thing I haven't tried is to have a Neutral or lower relationship status with Amanda before the conversation with her starts, which I'm having a hard time trying to pull off.

What Daniel would say after he jumps with Emma from roof, if Connor doesn't shoot Daniel?

I have watched the playthrough of a KZreadr that made Connor died protecting Emma by falling from the roof with Daniel, I think this one's would be the same like if Connor didn't managed to save Emma, so...Daniel said the same when Connor reactivates him in the evidence room... "You lied to me, Connor! I trusted you but you lied to me!" *smh*

I want there to be a way to save Daniel, I guess not though.....

Nope, but I think it was a game design decision since Daniel has many of the parts needed to reactivate other deviants in the evidence room.

Yes I understand, but I was just saying that if the designers gave the player the option to have Daniel survive the rooftop without being shot or dying then they would have a problem with the logistics of reactivating the various pieces of evidence needed to locate Jericho.

Maybe they can have it where you can choose to save Daniel, but at the expense of you not being able to save another android down the line, like the tower deviant or Chloe (in order to find out about Jericho). Or make a completely Pacifist route which is very difficult to complete.
