Dethatching my lawn with a RAKE and reseeding

As many of you already know beside my woodworking shop my big passion is my garden, my front and backyard and especially my lawn. So i decided to make a special video where i show how to dethatch a lawn with just a rake. After this i putet some topsoil on low spots and reseeded my lawn. Now my front yard is back with healtyh and thick dark green lawn!

Its soil and sand mixed
It looks like you prefer the Wolf Garten tools more than the Gardena Combisystem. What do you like better about them?

They are both well build. Get what you have closer at your local dealers 🙌
And also can I use any type of soil or do I specifically need a top soil?

best is to use a mix of sand and top soil
How long did it take you to dethatch your whole lawn with the rake?

Spook Mcshoot i spend my afternoon for doing it... but that was just my front yard... i have way more lawn in my back yard.
You should have bagged mowed at the start so all the clippings don't go on thr grass before thatching.
Helpful video. Nice not to have to listen to endless razamataz and suggestions about hiring numerous machines to achieve a good result.

If I was you, I would kill all that and reseed with a mix of KBG and perennial ryegrass.
