Had problem sorting what I though might be of interest for this video, bit of frustration set in on this trip, couldn't get access to a couple of places I would have liked to, the grass in places proved to be a real pain, the gold was proving to be hard to find, and after videoing numerous " sounds ok digs " for small / large lead shot ect the video got used a lot less so not many of gold being dug up to see, then a blip and a bip and some material went ?? not to be found again.But in saying that it was great to get away, any time spent out bush is great.Despite the grass which is to be expected in the north, a pain to detectorists but a necessity to the station owners, so it is always great to see then having good seasons. There are of course always some areas that differ, rainfall, number of cattle and wether their been hanging about the area you want to detect, soil type and terrain all can make a big difference. Hundreds of people go up there detecting each year with varying success, I did see some nice gold found and heard of much more that had been found over the season. Skill and luck are all part of it.
