[SONG THEORY] At first, I preferred the vocals to be a bit clearer so that I can feel the synergy of his voice with the music, but after reading the lyrics, it all made sense now. Basically, Mysta deliberately blended his voice in the music because the lyrics were too deep and he doesn't want his fans or his community to make a commotion out of it. He did it so no one could see him as a brazen person while still delivering and expressing the immense pain he feels. He didn't want to be misunderstood, and all he needed was everyone's attention to look at the love he unconditionally gave to the fans. In the rap section, it contained almost all of his pent-up emotions and he was able to release it, which was an admirable and courageous thing to do, in my opinion. For my theory for this song, it's actually talking about how Mysta feels trapped by the expectations of his fans surrounding and suffocating him. He does feel contented about making them happy but then it came to a point where expectations of the community started to grow and it slowly controlled him. They wanted more, they were too greedy, and so they practically loved the ideal version of himself painstakingly created by Mysta because he thought that this was the best way to make everyone happy. But what about Mysta himself? He wasn't happy, he was stressed of keeping this facade that everyone loves and it didn't feel right for Mysta because they were only loving the ideal version of him. That explains why the title of this song is "Detect my Love" because he wanted to show his genuine love towards his fans and let them witness or detect THAT love instead of fans having an obesession on a fabricated love made by their own expectations. 0:16 "I want to feel your heat against my skin. These feelings I've been trying to hold in." He's saying here that he only wanted love and care from his fans, even if he showed his deep hidden feelings. He hoped that his fans will still show support despite making this decision of graduating. 0:29 "You know I can see it in your eyes. Don't sit and act like you're surprised. I'm so tired of playing nice." When everyone knew that he was about to graduate from Nijisanji, everyone was surprised. They were sad and some were disappointed because of this and that's why Mysta said in the lyrics, "Don't act like you're surprised, I'm so tired of playing nice." 0:43 "I'm gonna just keep saying words to make you think I'm saying something. In reality, I put this part for essentially nothing." Mysta was barely hanging himself up in order to keep his fans happy and he feels like everything he has done up until now were "nothing" since it didn't felt genuine in the least. If you're wondering what does "mysterious guy" mean, it's implying about the true Mysta Rias devoid of any fabrication. The rap section was self-explanatory so I'm gonna skip it. 1:40 "Don't panic, look at me. To calm down your stare is all I need. But I just want you to make me free. I'll try to match your pace. You won't forget my taste. So can't I end the night in your embrace?" All Mysta wanted was to calm his fans down from the shock of his sudden graduation. He can't go back, either. He wanted to be free. And another thing that he needed before he could graduate is to feel the warmth full of sincerity from the community, which is a translation from the line, "So can't I end the night in your embrace?" 2:24 "These pictures in my office you're a prime suspect. After our fun, I'll make sure you'll detect." He kept his fans and their happiness as his number one priority. And he hoped that after all the fun that he did, everyone would realize how Mysta loves his community to the core. 2:32 "Playing your game dodging bombs its feeling like its minesweeper. Can you please just realize through these bars you're a gatekeeper?" These particular lyrics DEFINITELY hits hard. The first sentence talks about him trying hard to avoid the bombs (a moment where the community would turn against him) and nowhere in his life did he feel safe for once. It's like he's obligated to do a set of things to keep his image from being tainted by the fans. There was no freedom for Mysta, every action he does is just a result of someone's manipulation. There were no traces of the actual him, and all the fans adored was an obedient pushover. That's why in the second sentence, he basically said that they're keeping Mysta in a prison cell, as they are the "gatekeepers." The main lesson here is that everyone has lives, it's hard to accommodate every people in the world especially if the community have their own standards that's needed to meet. Don't come to hate a single person if they failed to entertain you, even once. It's hard being an entertainer, and they work hard for us to give the luxury to be happy. While it's true that you can't be a VTuber if you can't commit to making people happy, it doesn't mean that we have the right to abuse it. Regardless if you remained ignorant about your actions or simply just having pure intentions, that's for the receiver's end to decide, which is Mysta himself. Hateful comments that are ranting about your dissatisfactions are just detrimental things to the entertainers and can even lead to depression. Negative things can greatly impact a person's life, remember that. All in all, the message was pretty clear and Mysta did a good job on that. I think the real main banger here isn't the music, but it's actually the deep lyrics that functions as a core for this song. I hope you will live a better life after graduating, Mysta Rias!

Very good analysis!!!! (I'm sincerely happy that Mysta and the actual liver behind his character can seperate ways so he can enjoy his life after all he could do to make us happy. Mysta really was a big part of us Mystakes and the niji en community so even after his graduation, I'm glad he can keep touch with the other members and feel much happier and safe without the pressure and stress of the corp. rules, obsessive and greedy fans, and an overall seperate toxic part of his community
