I took this show seriously without watching any trailer or something, n i was so into it..when she was fighting a child i still didn't realize it bcz i had that movie orphan in mind n was waiting for another twist..i realized until i came KZread about the ending and now I'm laughing on all those weird scenes in this video 💀

HOLY SJIT I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE I FELT LIKE I WASTED MY 3 HOURS BECAUSE I DDINT KNOW IT WAS SATIRICAL

I think it's funny the title to this video assume we "definitely missed" every single one of these but my husband and I noticed every single one of them and could not stop laughing throughout the entire series. It was amazing.

This was one of the most interesting yet dumbest shows I’ve ever seen in my life.

Started watching this show thinking it was a dark comedy/drama, I was cracking up by the end.

And she was dressed like Drew Barrymore in Scream. At her first teleconversation with her therapist, the therapist sounded like Ghostface

Such a great show !!! It checks all the boxes for mystery / comedy lovers. All thew cliche´s, and dark humor like bring your daughter to work day ; at a maximum security prison !

I am such a sucker for dark comedy that I didn't see any of those as parody at all. It just... dark comedy. 🤣Like for instance, the girl tagging along with her father to see all those criminally insane and actually smiling as she walks 🤣🤣🤣

Can't believe so many people didn't realise this was satire. The title and the fact that it was Kristen Bell tipped me off immediately. Although... the first big moment where it was obvious didn't come till the nature of the father's job on Bring Your Daughter to Work day was revealed 😂 It was pretty subtle before that.

I thought it was serious too and as a social worker I was very concerned about all of the ethical violations including them taking a minor into a psych assessment with a murderer and the fact that he is prescribing his wife medications.

That's because the script was written as a parody, bur the acting and the edit were as serious as they could be, which was even more confusing and hilarious. When they first tild ya how the girl died three paths opened: 1. This is a parody. I can't take anything in the plot seriously. 2. Nothing is real, It only happened on her vivid imagination. That also explained the changing grave. 3. They script writters were high while writting this 😂

People keep forgetting the scene where the detective says she's reaching for her service revolver and it's actually a semi-automatic pistol. Right before she says Anna's daughter was killed and eaten!

It is because of this that I realize I am not much of a small detail person when watching something 😭 I want to follow closely with the plot as much as possible, not wanting to miss the sequence of events so I... sadly took this seriously 🤣🤣🤣

It took me so long to figure out that this was a spoof. I just kept thinking that it seemed like one of those over dramatic scenes from a show that is on a TV that a character in a movie is watching. Im glad I didn't give up on it because it was funny.

The changing of the mailbox engraving had me scratching my head like did she die or was she even pregnant. But this series had me on the edge of my seat (binge watching) going OH HECK NAW!! Come.on season 2

Gosh i didnt understad where the funny bit was but now i understand the silly stuff was a parady element lol i found it hilarious how the lil kid murdered everyone wtf lol. I loved the show tho..not cheesy..

How could we not have noticed the mailbox saga if it even was an explicit point in the plot? it is talked about by the characters directly.

I thought there was some meaning behind Anna covering her iPhone's camera lens back in 2018 when taking the last family picture ...

Because everything is exaggerated. You watch the show trying to piece everything together but everything is so ridiculous your mind is on a loop trying to pin things together that aren’t supposed to be put together in the first place. Think of this movie as a soft core version of all the “scary movie” series

Watch some interviews of Kristen talking about it. It's meant to be making fun of all the movies that follow this exact formula. Maybe not a comedy, but definitely a parody or satire.

We didn’t miss details...this show just didn’t payoff any of the details cause the details didn’t matter. This show deserved better.

The flight attendant said there was never a person in seat 2A. But the compact, which Anna saw the lady use, confirmed that it was in fact real; kind of a fake setup for a sequel. P.S. the actress who sat by Anna was in Fatal Attraction, one of the most iconic movies from the 80s to set up for the genre they're making fun of.

That casserole did look gross though.

I loved this series. I get prescribed Xanax 2 mg and sometimes I would drink on it, that’s why I believe her throughout the whole series. Nothings that fake fake when YOU see it.
