The BMW E39 M5 debuted at the Geneva Auto Show in 1998 with it’s first V8 engine ever in an M5, the iconic S62. This car is arguably peak BMW.
We had the pleasure of giving this gorgeous car a full refresh. We started by Dry Ice Cleaning the body and getting rid of 20 years of muck, to start with a blank canvas. Then it was time to make this deep black paint shine like the day it pulled off the lot.
After we got rid of scratches, swirls and other imperfections, we took it to our friends at N-Tech Studio for Paint Protection Film. We gave the wheels a fresh ceramic coating, and got to work deep cleaning the interior with some of our favorite products.

There is something immensely satisfying about watching the grime being removed by the dry ice procedure slowly revealing the original surface especially on older vehicles.

Not sure there has been more classical and beautiful BMW since the M39 M5. And you brought it back to it’s former glory.
One of the last great BMWs. This video reminds me of the hours and Hours I would spend detailing my E36 M3. So satisfying..

I got mine four years ago it’s in tiptop shape, with the nice BBS rims. I recently updated my sound system, and it’s just awesome. I have the touring version and I hope I will never ever have another car this is everything I wanted in the car and every day I open the door , I am so proud to be its owner.

E34 and E32 were better looking and aged better despite being considerably older designs.

@@Bhaidostyaar detailing IS restoration, making sure the paint is back to factory or better, replacing worn out badging, polishing wheel and removing excess grime from underneath the car. Not sure why you want to try and split hairs.

@@VinceroAlpha well, detailing is not restoration, its a part of restoration, I corrected you bcz detailing sounds better, is used for cars and is overall a correct word to use. Anyways, I realise that I just payed too much attention, so sorry for that.
You guys brought that came back to its original state & made it even better! The dry ice machine is something else!! Works wonders

I have an e39 M5 with the exact same spec. That car was pretty clean to start with, but now it looks new. Amazing.

Another superstar M5 - Love it!
Drove the Sea to Sky highway from Vancouver to Whistler in an E39 V8 (not M5) and it just swallowed up the road like nothing. Long grades, sweeping corners, easy peasy. So much power, NEVER felt like it was straining, just massively capable. Can't even imagine how ridiculous the M5 version would have been.

Great video and reminds me I need a dry ice machine! Not sure why you took off the emblems but left the side trim on. Side trim comes off super easy fyi for future....
