I own a 2000 Vmax and it's a Beast and LOVE it ! I test rode a few Gen 2 owned by other guys at a VMOA event and they were simply Insane !!!!!!!!

My only complaint about the 2nd gen Max is the fuel capacity of 4 gallons. It really limits where you travel on long trips. A 5.5 gallon tank would have been better.

I am a huge vmax fan...oh but the magna, amazing bike!!

I am now 64 yrs. old. I grew up o # 1969cb750 HONDA/#2 - 2 650 CC bONNIES FROM tRIUMPH #3 650 special Yamaha and 4-6 Harley Davidsons. I have always wanted to take a V-Max down a quarter mile race track, but have never done it. I have been lookiing at Harley's again so I could ride with my son. After much searching I have discovered that Harley has gotten too big for it's britches, and was going to go with a Yamaha cruiser like a road star warrior 1700. But I will be gone soon and I still have a desire of 200 mph on a track (safety) for others and there are are a lot of 1st gen cheap. I think I may give it a go.

Wonder if he ever got the ole vmax? He's not going to hit 200 mph but the 0/150 sure is fun on emm. I love my 04!

I have a 1995 red rocket, you can get your adrenaline rush with a twist of the throttle. It's all about danger and speed, those that are afraid to go fast should stay home.

I believe they all handmade (the motors) in Japan. 🇯🇵 Yamaha says THIS is their “Flagship Model”; just look 👀 at the build quality/materials used on a Gen 2….😮❤😊

Baught my 2012 vmax from DHY and I will never be without the bike :) I have two gen 1 vmax's and love them , but their isn't any comparison with the gen 2. Yes its terrible on gas that I agree , but I didn't buy the bike to conserve fuel :) You need to test drive one and you will buy one, I guarantee it.

Wow going from a 1450 harley to a vmax omg the max scared me to wear gear due to the power difference. I love the v4 so much my lady got a 03 magna v4 750 the magna is faster than my twin cam was too.

I own a 92 model, its good for embarrassing Harley riders haha
