Shirley Fields school doesn’t teach a lot of things that’s done in a salon. We have a licensed to practice. There more than one way to skin a cat.

Damasterstylist I have a license as well, and I wouldn’t jeopardize the client’s hair combing a relaxer through it, regardless of what some schools don’t teach. I don’t know of a reputable school that would teach you to comb a relaxer through a client’s hair. You use the flat side of the comb to smooth the relaxer into the hair but never comb it through the hair, it can cause breakage.

I love this! Color is calling me & the cut..you did that! I wish you were near me so I could come there because your professionalism is outstanding not only in your gifting, but your maturity. I don't mean in age. I mean that (not the case here), but when you deal with clients that have damaged hair or hair loss you are always mature & kind. You don't harp on the problem like many do making the customer feel worse as if they don't slready know. I have a style cut too, relaxer. But want to start putting color in my hair (just at the top). Don't want to over process my hair with too many chemicals from the relaxer and color. So decided to stop getting relaxers. But was debating if I should do a partial relaxer or let the whole hair be natural. Thanks to this video I'll do a partial relaxer! Thanks!
