Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD 💥 40 yrs after crucifixion of Christ

Apocalyptic events that took place in Jerusalem in the year 70 AD. Destruction of Jerusalem and the Holy Temple. "Wars of the Jews" by Flavius Joseph, the eyewitness of the events. Book 6. Chapters 1-5. SUPERNATURAL SIGNS AND PROPHECIES that proceeded the destruction: 1:31:45
--------------------------------------------------
"Moreover, at that feast which we call PENTECOST, as the priests were going by night into the inner court of the temple, as their custom was, to perform their sacred ministrations, they said that, in the first place, THEY FELT QUAKING, and HEARD A GREAT NOISE, and after that THEY HEARD A SOUND AS OF A GREAT MULTITUDE, saying, "LET US REMOVE HENCE."
But, what is still more terrible, there was ONE JESUS, THE SON OF ANANUS, a plebeian and a husbandman, who, 4 YEARS BEFORE THE WAR BEGAN, and at a time when the city was in very great peace and prosperity, came to that feast whereon it is our custom for every one to make tabernacles to God in the temple, BEGAN ON A SUDDEN TO CRY ALOUD:
"A VOICE FROM THE EAST, A VOICE FROM THE WEST, A VOICE FROM THE FOUR WINDS, A VOICE AGAINST JERUSALEM AND THE HOLY HOUSE, A VOICE AGAINST THE BRIDEGROOMS AND THE BRIDES, AND A VOICE AGAINST THIS WHOLE PEOPLE!"
THIS WAS HIS CRY, AS HE WENT ABOUT BY DAY AND BY NIGHT, IN ALL THE LANES OF THE CITY.
However, certain of the most eminent among the populace had great indignation at this dire cry of his, and took up the man, and gave him a great number of severe stripes; yet did not he either say any thing for himself, or any thing peculiar to those that chastised him, but still went on with the same words which he cried before. Hereupon our rulers, supposing, as the case proved to be, that this was a sort of divine fury in the man, brought him to the Roman procurator, where he was whipped till his bones were laid bare; yet he did not make any supplication for himself, nor shed any tears, but turning his voice to the most lamentable tone possible, AT EVERY STROKE OF THE WHIP HIS ANSWER WAS,
"WOE, WOE TO JERUSALEM!"
And when Albinus for he was then our procurator asked him, Who he was? and whence he came? and why he uttered such words? he made no manner of reply to what he said, but still did not leave off his melancholy ditty, till Albinus took him to be a madman, and dismissed him..."

ALL THIS HAPPENED TO FULFILL THE PROPHETIC WORDS OF CHRIST:
And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” -- Matthew 24 : 2
Jesus Laments over Jerusalem 40 years before this desolation was to happen:
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! YOUR HOUSE IS LEFT TO YOU DESOLATE; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’ ” -- Matthew 23: 37-39
Likewise, the blood curse that the Jews took upon themselves was fulfilled in 70 AD:
'His Blood be on us and on our children.' -- Matthew 27:25

What a great misery for those hard hearted jews who caused termoil in all the great city and turned the temple of their celebrated God into a war fortress. Cesar of Rome respected the house of their God and wanted to turn away from waring with them or touching the foundation of the house, but the jews would not adhere and would not turn away from their own destruction, their God handed them over to such oppression and apocalypse that was not seen or experienced before God was ok with the destruction of his earthly dwelling for he is supremely rich and of many mansions in other dimensions yet he has not forasaken his fleshly dwelling in us gentiles, although these jews have turned away from the righteous path and have angered God to the limit being his choosen people

@70AD first the son came in peace to inherit a special people from Abraham [those who truly bieleved and waited on Jehovah], and for the foreign nations that will inherit the earth. But truly the second coming shall he marked by a great Zeal of Godly anger, the Christ is coming again from the high dwelling place with the weapon of Israel [the bow] tp inflict damage to the nations, he comes dressed Crimson White approved to trample them from one corner of the earth to the far extreme corners, all former nations shall be forgotten and the Kingdom of God shall be established as in heaven so on earth

If Christians REALLY studied the OT, understood the difference between didactic and apocalyptic language, the Olivet Discourse and the book of Revelation are clearly speaking of the end of the OT Age with the most awful event in history, the Roman seize of Israel in 70ad. Critics have successfully called Christ a liar because after He explained all of the things that would happen, He ends it with “truly truly I say unto you THIS GENERATION (40 years) shall not pass away until ALL THESE THINGS COME TO PASS”. So either Lord forbid Jesus lied, or recent liberal Christians simply don’t know biblical exegesis. In what should be one of the greatest proofs of Christ’s at least prophetic powers, liberals have turned Revelation and the OD into a joke. If you read, carefully Jesus answer to “When will the end come”, first you have to recognize He’s being asked when the end of the AGE will come, not all time. Christ uses simple prose combined with apocalyptic language found almost ver batum from Isaiah. Is “The Lord coming in the clouds” a good thing? No, it always signals judgement, and was used for Egypt, Moab and Israel under the Babylonians. This is what happened when the Lord came according to Isaiah for the destruction of Israel to Babylon, “The Heavens melted and the moon shone no more, the earth shook and was terrified”, now did that happen EXACTLY? No! Because it’s a certain literary form, I’ll tell you this, the first century Christians understood! Jesus said “When you see all these signs DO NOT escape to the city, but FLEE IT” this is why there were many Christian camps OUTSIDE JERUSALEM, and when they happened the unbelievers ran into the city because the walls had the great herodian stone walls, but believers knew better. It was such common knowledge, the warnings of Christ, that when the Romans hurled rocks into the city, the watchman would yell out, mockingly “Here comes the SON” mocking the Son of Man. I haven’t watched this guys video yet so I’m not accusing of anything, but I also fell for the Hal Lindsey scam of Dispensationalism, and other ridiculous interpretations of Revelation, a book written to 7 specific churches in a specific place at a specific time of what WOULD SOON TAKE PLACE, what a liar God would be if Revelation WASNT coming for 2000 years and John just wrote the events would HAPPEN TO THEM SOON when in reality they would not! It’s a JOKE. Follow all the clues, Nero is the Beast, his name transliterated from Latin to Hebrew was 666, and get this, we have copy manuscripts with 616, error? No they happen to be Greek translations, see Latin to Greek Neros name is 616!!!! 1.5 million Jews died, some underwent cannibalism, the emperors worship statue was in the Holy of Holies Josephus and what’s his name the Roman historian, and as Jesus said “not one brick upon another”, but the OLD COVENANT WAS GONE, CHRIST DESTROYED IT, I mean we should be shouting this from the rooftops, instead we read some book someone has written and think Rev and Olivet Discourse will apply to us some day, insanity because it’s exciting for people, it used to excite me, but the TRUTH is much more exciting and CHRIST IS STILL COMING BACK! If anyone has questions please write, for example what did Romans call Rome? “The city of 7 hills” sound familiar? If you want the best study, RC Sprouls “Last days according to Jesus” is where you start and end, once you get the context, WHO these words are going to, historically HOW DID THEY TALK? What does apocalyptic language of destruction look and sound like, I never thought I’d say this but REVELATION IS A EASY BOOK, 75% is EXACT quotes from the OT, and it’s easy to overlay it onto Israel and Rome, and then all the players reveal themselves. Now I’m not a full preterist, and in my research 99% of others definition of what Preterists believe is false at best, slander at worst, and mainly misunderstood out of ignorance and tradition. We need to understand that just like those of Jesus time who didn’t know precisely HOW the Messiah was going to come, not the prophets, not the angels, we do not know precisely how Jesus will return except “He shall return the same way He is leaving” I’m getting excited about Christ’s return again because looking around Christianity is pretty much dead, the last bastion Europe is almost gone, in America 95% liberal fun “Let’s be good people and go to Church” type Christians, the acceptance and glorification of sodomy and every evil is exalted, and I don’t see people getting saved anymore, I know they do but when I was young you could see people left and right choosing, now there’s nothing but worldly evil so I hope and pray Christ returns soon

@@michaelballard3413 I didn’t say destroy, though the OT System is destroyed and fulfilled in Christ, the OT AGE, this was the precise question the apostles were asking, the answer is the Olivet Discourse. Even liberal scholars are starting to recognize this and throw off the tradition and brainwashing of the 100 year heresy of Dispensationalism

Right on brother, I love your explanation. By the way, you are right to say that the Old Covenant is done, the bible support your statement. Hebrews 8:13 is very clear, the Old Covenant (Exodus 34:28, Deut 10:4, Deut 4:13) is obsolete. Hebrews 9:1-4 has a brief explanation of the Old Covenant, and verse 4 is the clear evidence of it!!! The apostle Paul uses the word "abolished" four (4) times in the Koine Greek in 2 Corinthians 3; two (2) times in Romans 7, and one (1) time in Ephesians 2. The Old Covenant came to a full stop at the cross; the New Covenant is the Body of Christ, according to Luke 22:19-20!! God bless you and have a great day!!

40 is the time of the fullfilment: In the Hebrew Bible, forty is often used for time periods, forty days or forty years, which separate "two distinct epochs". Rain fell for "forty days and forty nights" during the Flood (Genesis 7:4). Noah waited for forty days after the tops of mountains were seen after the flood, before releasing a raven (Genesis 8:5-7). Spies were sent by Moses to explore the land of Canaan (promised to the children of Israel) for "forty days" (Numbers 13:2, 25). The Hebrew people lived in the lands outside of the promised land for "forty years". This period of years represents the time it takes for a new generation to arise (Numbers 32:13). Several early Hebrew leaders and kings are said to have ruled for "forty years", that is, a generation. Examples include Eli (1 Samuel 4:18), Saul (Acts 13:21), David (2 Samuel 5:4), and Solomon (1 Kings 11:42). Goliath challenged the Israelites twice a day for forty days before David defeated him (1 Samuel 17:16). Moses spent three consecutive periods of "forty days and forty nights" on Mount Sinai: He went up on the seventh day of Sivan, after God gave the Torah to the Jewish people, in order to learn the Torah from God, and came down on the seventeenth day of Tammuz, when he saw the Jews worshiping the Golden Calf and broke the tablets (Deuteronomy 9:11). He went up on the eighteenth day of Tammuz to beg forgiveness for the people's sin and came down without God's atonement on the twenty-ninth day of Av (Deuteronomy 9:25). He went up on the first day of Elul and came down on the tenth day of Tishrei, the first Yom Kippur, with God's atonement (Deuteronomy 10:10). A mikvah consists of 40 se'ah (approximately 200 U.S. gallons or 760 liters) of water The prophet Elijah had to walk 40 days and 40 nights before arriving at mount Horeb (1 Kings 19:8). 40 lashes is one of the punishments meted out by the Sanhedrin (Deuteronomy 25:3), though in actual practice only 39 lashes were administered.[9] (Numbers 14:33-34) alludes to the same[clarification needed] with ties to the prophecy in The Book of Daniel. "For forty years-one year for each of the forty days you explored the land-you will suffer for your sins and know what it is like to have me against you." One of the prerequisites for a man to study Kabbalah is that he is forty years old. "The registering of these men was carried on cruelly, zealously, assiduously, from the rising of the sun to its going down, and was not brought to an end in forty days" (3 Maccabees 4:15). Jonah warns Nineveh that "Forty days more, and Nineveh shall be overthrown." (Jonah 3:4) Christianity: Christianity similarly uses forty to designate important time periods: Before his temptation, Jesus fasted "forty days and forty nights" in the Judean desert (Matthew 4:2, Mark 1:13, Luke 4:2). Forty days was the period from the resurrection of Jesus to the ascension of Jesus (Acts 1:3). According to Stephen, Moses' life is divided into three 40-year segments, separated by his growing to adulthood, fleeing from Egypt, and his return to lead his people out (Acts 7:23,30,36). In modern Christian practice, Lent consists of the 40 days preceding Easter. In much of Western Christianity, Sundays are excluded from the count; in Eastern Christianity, Sundays are included. The Forty Martyrs of Sebaste Kirk Kilisse, "40 Churches" (Σαράντα Εκκλησιές) in Eastern Thrace Rain fell for "forty days and forty nights" during the Flood (Genesis 7:4).

4 in Hebrew and Bible suggests fullness or whole encompassing like 4 corners. Where as ten stands for completeness. So 4 x 10 = 40 Which means: fully complete

Ezekiel 36, 37 ,38, also speaks about the regathering of the Jewish nation.

Read Isaiah 65; it talks about judgement for Jews and salvation in Isaiah 65:17 talks about new heaven new earth and 18; about new Jerusalem The book of revelation most of it is for them, their end of their world!!
