This is a long one for the lovers not the haters 😂 A week of crushing, drop balling and shearing with the Copex. I haven’t shortened the seperate clips as much as usual, hence the length, there’s a 44 tonner tipping a load of machines, the tipper almost at the top with 24 tonnes jammed before it comes crashing out, my own wagons tipping, more shearing aluminium, crushing and shearing hookloader bodies. I filled the Copex with girders and it sheared them five or six at a time. I’ve included a clip at the end of me working in the non ferrous building this (Saturday) morning, baling copper with the baler, some people wanted to see more of the non ferrous side of the business. Also, before I forget, there’s another clip of me bombing safes with the big ball, these particular safes are out of our local Lloyds Bank that closed last year, I’ve handled a lot of money out of those safes before we went cashless in 2012, a bit of history there, before I gave them a headache. They’ll be on their way to Liverpool in the OA on Monday. I hope you enjoy, just another week in my life, fortunately it didn’t rain for the whole week, although it’s hailed and tried to snow today, driven by strong winds, 4 degrees at times, roll on summer.

The variety of tasks you cover in a week is incredible. The segment where you’re baling copper with the baler in the non-ferrous building was really insightful. The story about the safes from Lloyds Bank was a cool piece of history too. Great work as always!

i like what i see, its intresting to see recycling works and all that good stuff.... i like the crusher thats squeezes the metal together and then cut it up in shorter pieces.... but everything u film is intresting. keep the great work up and let it come...
It is so nice to have my morning coffee with you Mark. Great video, I love the longer ones like this one. I could sit and watch the Copex cutting until my ass goes numb. I can´t get enough of that. The safe smashing was very cool too. It´s been a long time since we watched the bailer, nice to see that. Your weather sounds bad. My flowers are up, temp in the mid 20s, spring in full swing here. Hi Paula, glad you like it, the weather’s been a bit more suited to making videos but it involves a lot of running about, jumping in and out of the Sennebogen and running up the steps to the Copex cabin to get different camera angles. I had two cameras set up for the safe breaking, then, of course, there’s the editing dozens of clips and stitching them together while trying to keep the viewer from falling asleep 😴 😂

I thought that loader looked new when I was there the other day…that’s nearly a full new set in the last 12 months…How about a vid on the old cranes and trucks in action compared to the new stuff……👍
