I think Destiny knows that but is unsure that Vaush will actually be proactive enough to go out in person and gather people in his orbit to canvass instead of just donating to some foundation like Vaush normally does. Back during the first Georgia and the Omaha canvassing events Vaush was fully supportive. Not only defending Destiny, but advocating his fans to go support if possible. If it is about direct action to improve things, Vaush might be amiable. I haven't watched him in like a year at least though (since he was winding down towards the fortress arc).

When is the panel happening

DPak was definetly not joking when he asked destiny if he might be autistic (it also is weirdly autistic to think he was), but was genuinely concerned by the ferver with which destiny was arguing his Rittenhouse takes. Floating autism as a possible inhibiting communicattion factor was (i believe) a geniune attempt at resolving an otherwise pretty dramatic fallout between destiny and many lest-wing content creators. From destinys point of view, that whole drama stemmed from these same poeples inability to recognise his point of view, due to their deeply entranched political bias, but even if that is true, it might also be true, that if he was a little less autistic (if we assume that he really is autistic), this whole saga might have taken a less dramatic turn.

I remember watching both Dpak and Destiny’s streams that day. That whole episode was weird. I occasionally find myself disagreeing with Pakman on a few subjects but on the topic of Rittenhouse he was WAY off. The reason Pakman asked Destiny if he was autistic is because people in his audience kept suggesting that Destiny was autistic and that he should ask the question. Still a stupid thing to do considering how heated the discussion was.

The reason I think he was way off is because of his opinion of the judge being biased in favor of Rittenhouse. I watched the whole trial too and was surprised that he was so adamant about that. I found myself more aligned with Destiny’s take despite being a Pakman fan. I enjoy their convos a lot and this one felt a bit out of character for DPak.

People who do canvassing for a living use high paychecks to live between work. When I was a paid canvasser (I volunteer now) it was like $17+ an hour in a state where the minimum wage was like $12. But most of the people I worked with would work 7 days a week, 8-10 hour shifts in the Arizona Summer. So they didn't have to pick up a mcdonalds job while they waited for the next campaign.

His last few debates with destiny showed how really vapid vaush is and embarrassed him, destiny got him to admit that he would let himself get killed if faced with a crowd that thinks he's guilty. As much as I'd love to see Destiny come out and give Stonecold stunners and chair shots to Vaush and Emma, it'd be great if something productive actually came from this. I actually don't think things are impossible with Vaush. He has a massive ego, but he isn't completely unreasonable. Put his ego against Destiny's and it makes it hard to mend fences. If Destiny really comes in good faith, it could allow Vaush to drop the ego and have a real conversation, instead of trying to out debate bro, Destiny. To be fair to Majority Report, they seem to have a politically engaged fan base. They take a lot of call ins and almost all of those people talk about what they do on the local level to further their cause from what I have seen. I will say they are hostile, but I would imagine their fan base contributes a lot more to the political landscape than say Vaush or Hasan who seem to focus more on shitting on people than talking about policy or whatnot like Majority Report does (they dedicate at least half of their show to stuff like that). You will have no problems getting them or even Vaush to say they will support Biden in the general. Vaush goes hard on riding with Biden and I know that Sam Seder’s fallout with Jimmy Dore revolves around him supporting the democratic candidate in the 2016 election. He knew that Trump winning would lead to a republican majority in the Supreme Court, and thought his fellow lefties should have bit the bullet and voted for Clinton instead of third party. Other than that, a lot to criticize the two on about hostility towards others on their side.. but I find Vaush to be much worse about it than MR.

I'm gonna be real I don't like some Florida guy paying people to canvass in places for races he has no stake in (non-national races). I could understand him supporting Mark Gudgel, he's from Omaha. I can also understand canvassing for Biden, he's the prez. If some bonger knocked on my door and told me who to vote for, that would irk me. Same goes for some Californian or Alabaman telling me who to vote for Texas senator.
