SPECTR_Eternal the whole point of Anastasia’s job before she became a guardian was to help Rasputin develop his own language. That’s why her title is “Warmind Crypto-Linguist.” Yeah he was obviously originally designed in russian but it’s been hundreds of years since the golden age and Rasputin is a learning machine. I mean, obviously bungie just didn’t get someone to speak Russian lines for him, but it’s not like Rasputin not speaking actual Russian can’t be explained.

On the other hand, I semi-agree with Ana, yes she has a right to be there and Rasputin can help humanity but Rasputin can't be trusted UNLESS Ana is ALWAYS at the Helm. Its obvious he doesn't give a damn about the Guardians as he nearly let them all die during the Red War but his Creator is literally one of them now, it's the perfect bind for him. But what the hell is he gonna do if Ana is permanently dead? Not gonna be helping humanity ever again, that's a guarantee... might even destroy the Traveler or some shit idk but he's just racist

Citrusbird386 Rasputin made it pretty clear that he is a defender of humanity with his own free will, the vanguard tried to use him as a weapon for their own purpose which, rightfully, pissed him off, and then they tried to steal SIVA from him even though he warned them of its danger, which led to him killing the guardians entering the SIVA complex to defend the whole planet. We as players tend to see Rasputin as some war AI but he was created with the traveler’s technology around the same time the EXO were created, and if they are said to have a human’s mind (in terms of complexity) I would say Rasputin has one too, and no one likes being treated as a tool. I think Ana will serve as a mediator between the guardians and Rasputin, but I don’t think he is bound to her in any kind of way.

Also Rasputin can spout that he is the defender of humanity all he wants, Actions speak louder than words and he abandoned Humanity when they needed him most and It doesn't matter if he wouldn't have made a difference against the Darkness, he still abandoned them to save himself, That's cowardice. And In the lore tabs Dr. Anastasia Bray seemed to be a lot more than just his creator, I mean someone teaching a young newborn being how to communicate and what's right from wrong etc etc. You get the point, he may not be bound by her but he definitely has a soft spot. Shown in the warmind comics too I believe (not sure about the comics actually so I could be wrong, haven't read them in several months)

I know the game has been lacking... but DAYUM. Rasputin sounds amazing. His cutscene at the end sent chills down my spine. Like a child AI coming alive and declaring his power to protect everyone. Kinda awesome, I hope he doesn't turn bad. ;-;

I feel like Nokris kinda deserved more, considering his dad was Oryx and was the younger brother of Crota. I mean his Dad and Aunty got entire dlc expansions and his brother was the main campaign villain, while he got stuck with a strike in an expansion about an old AI that only speaks Russian, and he didn’t even get to be the main antagonist

Great work on this video, man I love Destiny, and the expansions for D2 are really awesome.

This and Curse of Osiris has one thing: good soundtrack, good weapons/armor, but everything else is shit. They even took two of their missions, made a few tweeks, and called them "strikes"! Just pitiful. Thank god for Forsaken.

Does anyone from Destiny 1 remember the Swarm Princes, the hive-knights who were named after these worm gods?

Wow. I've only started playing Destiny 2 in Season of the Lost. I've played through all the campaigns but it's sad that I won't be able to play this. :/

I think its funny how in Dialogue, Bungie spells it "Worm" but yet its actually spelling in lore is "Wyrm"

Tbh when I was playing this and I saw the cutscene with Zavala, he was a straight meanie.

When you used your super for that Ogre and the smaller ones, and then Rasputin killed them off before you could hit them, I felt that.

I miss the good old times.

The worm god got no raid, One of the god beings of the hive who prides himself on knowledge got no raid and somehow got murdered by a stationary AI that can only drop warsats because Rasputin sure as hell wasn't gonna throw the javelin and a dude with a pistol.

I have no idea what happened besides thinking that the god worm reminded me of the worm from spongebob

I can help but feel there was a jump in the story between meeting Zavala on mars and Ana saying we need to beat Xol. It seems like there should be a mission to find out what else awakened on mars. Because as someone who's only played D2 it feels like they set up a mystery or hint at something I should already know but have no clue who/what the fuck Xol is as it's the first I've heard of him/it. So now I'm just like "yes... Xol. I should imagine that's awful I think. Very... bad?"

They could have easily done soooooo much better. For character development they could've played more on the Zavala-Ana relation making references to Twilight Gap and what not. So much potential to reward D1 veterans with interesting dialogue of stories they'd already heard while introducing newbies to the Lore from the Grimoire Cards. Also, why is it that Xol was beaten so easily? I get that Xol isn't necessarily as powerful as Oryx, but seriously? Oryx took 6 guardians to beat in 6 hours, this took one in 10 minutes...

Hey guys but I believe there might be another Xol on earth because it looks similar to the sea monster on earth.

Anybody ever wish you could dual wield hand cannons in this game. But it be like a special for only hunters. For titans maybe like twin short shotguns and warlocks maybe some true smg weapons.
