I wld luv to get a psion raid, where they f with our sense of direction, and turn left to right, right to left, up to down, and down to up. This wld be a cool mechanic.

We saw only a little of what the psion raid could be like with the fight against the Calus robot. And the psions working together can be crazy powerful. Im talking moving the moons of Mars wirh their minds powerful. The idea of having a mysterio level fight inside the mind, while working on stopping an apocalypse level threat like Pluto being launched at the last city would be wild and entirely within the realm of their abilities

I know it’s interesting to know what will become of destiny after the final ship, but I really want them to get into the secrets of the nine that would be interesting.. there name has been mention a lot but we still don’t know who they are.

Well we know WHAT they are but who is a whole other can of worms... They are the dark matter inverse of the 9 planets of the Sol system. They gained sentience when intelligent life evolved in the Sol system. 5 seek to understand the light and protect all life in the Sol system as their existence is bound to it. The other 4 seek a means to sever the bind by whatever means necessary so they can exist without bonds. FUN FACTS 1. They are probably responsible for Sur Eido's death through a mistake with an Ahamkara wish gone wrong as she was found with strange coin on her corpse. 2. They also tried to influence the Drifter to their side and when he refused, they attempted to kill him by basically microwaving his brain. He has to constantly counter the attack by shielding his mind with the light.

Still need to wrap up this thing around Taox too. Kind of a big part of the reason the the Hive were traveling the universe in the first place.

I've been waiting what feels like eons to find out what happened to Taox.

i never took muych notice of the psions but after seeing their models up close it makes me want to see more of them. they are a cool race that should be explored more

I find extremely exciting that the Psions will get the the spotlight this year of destiny There designs look cool to me

I am strangely have this thought of the God-thoughts coming back or at least a revisit of the Psion Conclave at a later point and that includes finding Xivu's current whereabouts.

Psions are literally: "blows up pancake with mind"

Psions felt shafted in Lightfall. That whole expansion was about the mind with the Veil and Strand. The Conclave was revealed to work with Calus in Risen. There was set up and context for Psions to play some kind of role in Lightfall, but there wasnt any sort of payoff for paying attention. Destiny is usually pretty good about stuff like that. Only thing we got was how some worshipped Nezarec, which was pretty cool.

Destiny's story after the light and dark saga should be about reclaiming the system and exploring what's been lost.

To travel with the Cabal and reclaim Torobaetl. I wouldn't mind allying with the Cabal to kick the Hive out of that world. I suspect after The Witness we will have to pursuit Xivu Arath across the cosmos.

Im still pissed that we dont have a strike or dungeon or anything with a darkness-inclined psion. Psions should have the best ability to use the darkness because of it being connected to consciosness. And nezarec doesnt even count because he was so focused on the light during the raid. A darkness psion flayer, given time, would supass hive gods EASILY

Been saying this for a while, psions and the tormentors/subjugators are capable of being their own enemy race.

It was like a cage or trap to make Zavala mortal, but they failed to kill him.

After final shape I really hope we leave Milky Way and go to andromeda and start a new operation there with the vanguard since now the darkness is gone humanity is able to leave the solar system once again also find a new home for the fallen of light and cabals they need their own planet somehow

If I had it my way (which I don't.... OBVIOUSLY) I'd just stop D2 and start D3. In D3, you could be a Guardian, Cabal, Fallen, or Lucent Hive. Enemies would be a full blown Psion faction, new Vex units, Remnants of the Witness, and some of these other mysterious factions that were rumored to be extinct. Also, still able to port in all of the D2 weapons and armor earned. Earn new weapons and armor, but also completely new weapons and armor for the new races.

I agree D3 should have more MMO elements for character creation. More races. More classes. New ways of using the light and dark. Allow us more expansive space travel outside the solar system. If I had my way, D2 wouldn't end, but would continue the story of Earth and the solar system, while D3 would expand outward to other areas of the story. Imagine that the conclusion of the Final Shape results in the Traveler actually leaving or being destroyed, and we have to pursue or find another Traveler.

Yeeeeah no. It took bungie like a decade to announce a new enemy and its just a smaller version of Nezarec that comes in two different colors. The Subjagator is the only thing we're getting till they ditch marathon and put their resources back into the game.

hell no PLZ NO, bungie if we continue down the path of fighting vex, cabal/psions, fallen and hive... plus their variants ima be so done. Im just exhausted from a decade of fighting the same 4 races.
