Great guide Sir Sausage, as usual! This quest is a total pain lol. Those overthrows are tedious, they take forever! I'm still finishing the ghost quests, so I haven't unlocked all the boss fight yet!

I was stuck on the motes of light part for quite a few days until they fixed the meatball in the Impasse. Also, if you've already done the 6 alone in the dark missions with Micah, you don't have to keep grabbing the missions from her, you can just go to the locations where the eagle sits and trigger the cysts from there.

Thanks brother i needed the help i was stuck at 15 motes until i looked at all the bosses and realized i missed 1 from impasse then boom it gave me the 2 i needed and i am the proud owner of exotic khvostov.

Sausage! I pretty much spent all day with you haha. Thanks for the video! Had to beat the meatball 3 times. Just do the match made overthrow. Took maybe 5-10 minutes that way

that and the ant-solo player content is what can drive players away. I shouldn't have to lfg for an exotic or whatever you get for that berserker part. When I want to, I do raid content through lfg. Bungie never learns.

Once you complete a cyst you don’t have to keep getting the Alone in the Dark bounties/quests. The cysts are unlocked once completed and you just go back into each one to get the encryption bit. I learned the hard way.

You didn’t add the link for how to get your exotic class item. Like you mentioned. Super handy I can watch this then do that. Question though. What if I didn’t get my lost encryption bit in some of them.

Nooooo!!!

You can get your hover board into the Transgression from the side of the platform. Go to the right and grind over to the steps.

I've done 6 alone in the dark missions and didn't know about the encryption bits 😢

I’m stuck at 16 motes done the triumphs and still stuck at 16

Same killed all bosses multiple times and got all visions of traveler

Im stuck on the dance of the swords cyst spent hours on it as i couldn't drop my sword quick enough after i killed one of the three bosses at end in order to crush their ghosts! Im taking in a friend with me next time so if i fail to crush enemies ghost i know my mate will have my back. I did one accidentally behind the farmhouse last weekend so i have 11 encrypted bits now! Its still a tedious grind all for a legendary weapon!? Oh no ive got to do the sword dance quest twice? Why do they put things in trees? And Overthrows intially quite good at first now just a tedious bore! Thanks sausage for your humour and walk through 😊

You don't have to drop the sword to kill the lucent ghost, just push down on the right thumbstick (if using a controller) per usual. Agreed on this, and overthrow, being tedious as hell!

The only one who explained it properly.......well for a sausage 😂

Thanks for the guide. Those overthrow events are getting a bit tiresome.

Good Beans, Msr. Sausage! This mission would have done my head in without your sacrifice of sanity and lifespan. I just imagine you sitting in exhausted contemplation in your wife's garden: "What can I suffer for them next?"

I miss one of the motes from one of the bosses. I don't know which, since done them all. Must be one of the first ones, since ai didn't know they drop something I need to ho pick up right from where they died. Kinda annoying, since all this time the game has taught that if you miss some pick-up, don't worry, it'll be at the post.

Crap. Did the quests, but never grabbed the encryption bits

This is the most tedious and endless exotic weapon quest EVER.

Do you have an active clan/discord? I've been playing for a decade and still have never raided or done most endgame content and i have been searching for a nice community to join to help me change that and you're the first destiny content creator that doesn't spread toxicity like they're system of a down.

This quest is still bugged fyi.
