This thing bungie does where they only bring back some weapons of a set instead of the full set really really pisses me off. Steelfeather Repeater, Pyroclastic Flow and Trophy Hunter deserved to come back too.

The fact that Steelfeather Repeater (formerly my favorite weapon in the franchise before HC/Incan Summoner) was not brought back instantly killed any motivation I may have had to farm this set.

The one thing I'm glad they brought back but I think not everyone noticed: The dawn weapons have their purple Saint glow when you activate the origin trait. So basically anytime you hit with your melee you'll see the glow. I want to say when it first came out it glowed I think only when you were participating in the seasonal activity, or something related to it. Now it's tied to the origin trait, and that alone is a big W for me.

FYI the origin trait can overflow the mag up to twice its capacity. Very good trait

Breachlight with Pugilist and Swashbuckler goes SO hard on a BoW/Second Chance Titan.

Explosive Personality is only a bad WFGL because Bungo doesn’t retroactively add new elemental perks to old weapons. A season later Incandescent came out.. come on. That type of perk should be added retroactively even if at worst only to raid weapons.

I noticed your shiny Midnight Coup with explosive payload/frenzy. I have mine with firefly/enlightened action in 3rd column and one for all/frenzy in 4th column. I use the sweaty confetti mod with firefly for cooler explosion effects lol. I love this gun so much.

Perfect Paradox is gonna be my go to one two punch shotgun. rapid fire, kinetic, field prep plus the origin trait. perfect.

The fact they took Outlaw from Breachlight is criminal. I still have my old one with Outlaw/Mulitkill Clip and it feels SO good to use it again.

I’ve been using Breachlight with smoke bomb on Hunter, and the multiple ticks seem to proc the origin trait so many times

Yeah, let’s bring back every single weapon, except for one of the most loved auto rifles of all time steel feather 🤦‍♂️

Line in the Sand as an arc Linear with BnS and Clown is overall great and helps with certain builds, very much recommend.

For the origin + artifact, a 6 mag line in the sand with something like enhanced battery + backup mag overflows to 12 BUT ionized with backup mag at 7 in the mag goes to 15 Clown cartridge doesn't affect max overflow capacity, so as long as this episode's artifact is active rapid hit is better ig

The linier fusion with reservoir burst is kinda good. Use the seasonal artifact mod then equip it and run around combination blowing everything to over load the hell out of the mag, then every shot that is overflowed will have it proc gaining a big damage burst. Just don't die or you have to start over.

As much as I miss Steelfeather, we have so many autos that are kinetic or strand already.

They need to do something with 140 shotguns. Let one role with target lock rewind rounds or something.

Not sure why Bungie omitted Steelfeather Repeater, and Gallant Charge. Also thank god I saved my SoDawn Perfect Paradox with Demo and Trench Barrel.

I've found kinetic tremors pretty useless on hand cannons. You kill almost everything except elites and mini bosses/bosses before it procs, and im generally not using primary weapons on those enemies. The only things ive found tremors good on are scouts and pulse rifles.... and maybe auto rifles

It's also not bad on smgs since it only takes 13 or 14 shots to trigger. I agree that it's not amazing on Hand Cannons since 5 or 6 shots takes a while. It needing to be on a single enemy also doesn't help.

I have a shiny with Explosive, Frenzy, and Tac Mag and I barely ever take it off!

Martyrs Retribution...dropping with heal clip and incandescent...and able to be enhanced....I don't need to know more Still hunting Patron, because not sure what it is, but feels lot better than Nightswatch. Also...Trophy Hunter, triple tap/vorpal...yes...been holding that for a damn long time. Kind of rusty these days, no origin trait, but, still looks good and feels good. Pyroclastic is outdated sadly, but, to pull that out, got some close looks from others just what the hell am I holding 😂

Not gonna lie if episode just means “seasons with less content and a single time release old weapon set” that’s gonna be a rough way to end D2. Especially with no steel feather repeater. A few things about Line in the Sand: This season there’s an artifact mod that allows the origin trait to overflow the mag, with Clown and Reservoir you’d have a ton of boosted shots to use on demand for damage or add clear. B&S is great, but can be awkward to proc in a GM Another thing is that it gets Deconstruct in the first column, which gives a 40% damage boost against vehicle/construct enemies. So I believe any Shrieker, Brig, Spider Tank, or similar boss would get toasted by a Deconstruct/B&S roll. That’s a total of 82% extra damage, plus it refills at least one round to the mag
