A few people, myself included, have noticed how the 'new weapon' looks a lot like bizzaro Sephiroth from the OG game. Also Bizzaro was a mistranslation and the actual name is wait for it... rebirth Sephiroth.

I feel Aerith and Sephrioth are playing 4-d chess when they arrive at the city of the ancients and that famous moment.

I think Sephiroth is still going to kill the one Midgar Zolem and this boss fight might be against either its mate or spawn.

I think I might spoil myself on the story then decide whether or not I want to refund my preorder. Especially if they screw up Clouds story.

If they kill Aerith, would it have any impact if you knew there was a spare Aerith in a different timeline? I'm not a fan of the compilation, so forgive my scepticism.@@aerithgrowsflowers

@@materiahunter8443 I don't believe there are multiple Aeriths or any character. It seems like the future is being rewritten by those who have knowledge of the future. If they were to keep the story the same, I'd feel no more than playing the OG again. This is a chance for the developers to make the story they wanted to make. The original game was great but the ending, not so much.
