DESSERT PERSON | Claire Saffitz & Christina Chaey
Ойын-сауық
Earlier this year, we celebrated the release of Claire Saffitz’s cookbook, Dessert Person, with Bon Appetit associate editor Christina Chaey.
Creative and meticulously tested, Dessert Person is full of tips, tricks, strategies in addition to recipes for sweet and savory baking. A great cookbook for baking enthusiasts, beginners, and anyone in between.
Claire and Christina, thank you so much for joining us! We hope to see you again soon.

I absolutely loved this live. Claire and Christina being friends made the event even more special!
Get these girls each a bottle of wine and the same recipe and you got a show. They've got a great dynamic and the time lol. Sign me up.
Love their dynamic, you can tell they have a respectful, easy going work friendship. Hope Claire's book does well despite not being able go on a traditional tour.
I missed seeing Christina! I hope she's back on her or someone elses channel soon. Claire is killing it and I am so happy for her.
Go do your thing Claire! We'll be here for you. You're new video's are a hit and we all know you've only just started. Thank you!
I loved Christina pulling apart the bread while the camera only looked at Claire’s reaction. Super funny. I’m looking forward to getting the book :)
These two should start a podcast together..🙂
What a lovely video. Two of my favorite people. So I thought since I talk about Claire so much, perhaps, someone would gift me Dessert Person. But no! And I had to actually waiting until December 31, before receiving all my presents ... and finding out that the book was not among them. I immediately ordered the book, but by that time it was not just back ordered a week, but back ordered three weeks! So now I have a looooooong, wait before I get my hands on that lovely book.
Claire talking about quince reminded me of her talking about potatoes on Gourmet Makes hahah
Fun fact. Marmalade comes from the Portuguese word for quince, marmelo. I think it’s underrated for that alone.
