DOOMTREE is dead.... Covid wounded it, and POS killed it, when he got busted manipulating women and putting them at risk of STD's without telling them. Same kinda shit that took out PROF, Dem Atlas, and Astronautalis.......huge chunks of the MN rap scene, all in one fell swoop. I'm sure it split the group philosophically, as some of the guys apparently knew what was going on and said/did nothing, but it also got him dropped from RSE, and effectively took down the whole collective. Most have been Social media dark since 2020. Beak will always be making music of some kind, and seems like the kinda guy who would not stand behind a shithead.....so for all intents and purposes, it looks like its Beak and Dessa (who called out POS the day it all broke, knowing the family and careers were all gonna suffer due to it)...and maybe Paper Tiger, and you'll never hear anything outta the rest of the collective ever again. They're gonna collect royalties after Doomtree corporate takes their oversight share (and uses that to fund Beak and Dessa albums still hopefully) , and vanish.
