Hard to believe it's from 2010. It could've easily pass as a new movie today. I think what they did perfectly here is hitting both the kids and the parents audience with the story. So no wonder it is so popular and doesn't age badly.

Exactly. The Despicable Me series is actually genuinely good. I unironically enjoyed all of it and the Minions and I'm sure the 4th will be just as good. People let the Minions distract them from an actual good thing.

Despicable Me (the first one at least) is genuinely such a funny and well-written movie. The plot is great, the jokes hit hard, and the characters are all likable, especially Gru. None of the sequels will live up to the greatness of the first film alone, but it’s still one of my favorite movies to this day.

The Bank of Evil is a genuinely great world-building idea and I'm honestly disappointed they never bring it back in the sequels. Seriously, why wasn't Mr. Perkins the villain in the later films? Gru basically killed this man's son and you're telling me he isn't gonna seek revenge. He runs The Bank of Evil (Formerly Lehman Brothers), He has the resources to do it.

Ingredients: 1 cup ketchup 1/2 cup vinegar 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 stick butter 2 tbsp honey 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp mustard paprika and salt 1 tbsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp hot sauce 1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan and stir until butter has melted. 2. Coat on chicken, meat, or anything! Enjoy. 2lbs Chicken Wings 2 tsp baking powder Spices I used: 1 tsp garlic, onion, paprika, chili 1 tsp salt Air fry at 400F for 20-25 Minutes flip mid way through Sauce: 2 Tbsp butter 4-5 cloves garlic 1 cup hot sauce (homemade coming soon) 1/4 cup honey Cilantro to taste 1/2 lemon 20-25 Chile De Arbol 5-6 cloves garlic roasted in 2 Tbsp oil (you can skip the roasting part) 1/4 cup white vinegar 1/2 cup Chile water 1 Tbsp paprika 2 tsp onion & garlic powder 2 tsp cumin 1 tsp salt
