Edit 2- Not all laptops are costlier than desktop Not all desktops are costlier than laptop Yeah so my comment was not fully correct but it wasn't totally wrong either Edit3- For people saying desktops are costlier than laptop- search it up- i5 9th gen, 16gb ram with integrated graphics- now a days it would be max 550-600USD(at least in my country) now search up a laptop with the same freaking specs that would be 650to 750 USD NOW if u add a GPU the pc one would be 800-1000USD(considering the GPU ain't that good) While in the laptop it would be like 700-800USD or something like that (Pls do remember that 200dollar difference is almost 15k difference here in my country)

I choose laptop because you could just buy a really good laptop with amazing specs. That’s if you have money but if you have the money then you’ll have the performance and portability. Another cool thing is that you can buy a cooler pad to make ur laptop really cool and safe.

@@AlexDSV i don't have this laptop anymore this was 4 months ago i alr got myself a good pc. and tell me how do you want to fit in a laptop that is supposed to be small enough to maybe take it with yourself somewhere 2 or 3 coolers when you need to fit in motherboard,ram,storage disc or m.2 what you rather,gpu,and a cooler and close it. basicially you can't then fit anywhere another cooler. and pc's are good only because you can easily change components,have better look,and you are able to cool it better than a laptop because it has alot of space where you can fit a cooler. tho as i said it was 4 months ago and i got myself a pc so ye.

UPS backup bro. It’s pricey ($100-$200) but trust me if your in a place with frequent power outages it’s worth it. The cheaper one will only give you 20-30 mins of run time but that’s enough to close and save important files and applications as well as log out of your game so you don’t corrupt your save. A UPS will typically have way better static and surge protection as well!

star x gamer heat issues can kinda be solved by undervolting and external fans so it isnt really that big of an issue for me personally.
Laptop gaming became pretty good value now though because of the GPU shortage. Getting a good value GPU for a desktop has been almost impossible for the past year, while RTX 3000 series laptops supply are pretty good.

I only see gaming laptops as convenient if you want to use it to play anywhere (regardless of the graphics power or the components) or to easily take it to school or university (I study architecture and I need it to render). But if it's just for gaming at full graphics power and improving it in the long run, desktop PC is better.

Recently been playing some 3rd/1st person shooter games on my mums old desktop at 720p 30max FPS and I can still see and snipe someone at 200 ig meters, if it doesn’t flip out and freeze 🥶
Makes so much sense that just owning a desktop makes your skill level go way up

i have my laptop as the cpu with a hdmi cable attached to my monitor so whenver theres a power shortage i just remove the hdmi cable open my laptop and continue playing
I use a gaming laptop with some accessories (keyboard, mouse, etc) and it works better than my friend's desktop! (edit) Alright I switched from laptop from desktop, and it's much better.

The fact is that the best laptop graphics card is GeForce RTX 3000, which i use on my msi laptop, so laptops gradually get closer and closer to Desktops, but mobile gaming is approaching way faster.

I think you can contact the company like DELL and Toshiba to upgrade your laptop for you. My Accounts sir who own a DELL Laptop asked the DELL company to upgrade his laptop to a gaming type, and in his time it was GTX Graphic series so he did it.

I literally only have two games on my laptop and the basic apps that come with it so it runs smoother than my PC lmao
i find having a computer easier than a laptop because with a computer you can say i throw in a new rtx or whatever but with a laptop you always have to buy a new one if it doesn't work anymore

My laptop is very good as I can change all the components :) but it is massive and very expensive it is barely portable and the battery runs out fast so I always keep it plugged in and just connect it to my monitor so it is basically a btech gaming pc

You do know that this is not applicable to an custom desktop replacement laptop correct? Some of the custom gaming laptops are portable rigs able to go par on par with an 1440p desktop on a cooling pad.
