My friend asked me Friday evening to listen to this song cause this will give me the answer to all my questions I have regarding me and him. So I got my answer cause this whole album speaks volumes to any couple inlove. Yes yes I desire you with all I have Mr N❤❤❤
I used to sit in his car and listen to this song...I was so young, but I thought like a woman...I wanted him and he desired me. He was patient...verrry patient..as I refused that act of passion...He taught me Intimacy... He left in 1979. I was 19, he was 29. I hadn't seen or heard from him in 43 years. I reached out by chance and he caught my plea and my Heart 🔥❤️I went to see him many miles away from where I live. We completed what we hadn't before...He sent me this song Desire Me. We played it back in the 70's and it feels even BETTER now. We talk across the miles...everyday..my regret is that I didn't resign myself to him then but oh! He has me Now! I hope he continues to Desire Me...I love him, yes I do! I love him💝
Someone I really, really like told me to listen to this song. I'm sure he's gonna be my husband after listening to this😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Such an incredible song incredible vocals Walter Williams brought it in smooth and Eddie brought that energy home and have to give props to the William Powell his vocals can be heard throughout the harmony. This would be the last album and one of the last songs William Powell sang on May he Rest Eternally in Peace. The Legendary O’Jays, Gamble and Huff doesn’t get any better than this.
Our ancestors are the greatest as illustrated in the album cover we are the soul and life giver's of the universe and planet the mighty mighty mighty o'jays and many more soul groups I'm in love with black and essence more blessings.
One of my favorite O' Jays records. The whole thing deserves every song to be played in it's entirety. About 4 when it came out and just vibing off the energy it provided my happy house of 1970s.
Yeah Walter ain't no joke!!!! Beautiful versitile style of singing!! One of my favorite memories of a song. Desire me "Lord Have Mercy."
For my loved ones that are no longer here...my brother, aunt, my mom & stepmother...rest n paradise...save a seat for me. 💒💐🌹🌷
The O Jay's is priceless TSOP 4 life
The O'Jays. 'Nuff said. Beautiful cut. Thanks for the upload. Blessings
Walter Williams is the MAN!!! His voice is sheer perfection. I luv Eddie, but Walt is the soul of the O'Jay's
Had The LP in 1977 when I was 13 although replaced with the CD version which is doubled with Family Reunion two of My favorite Ojays Albums
Oh lawd..I must not cry...
I could get a bottle of wine, fill my bathtub with water with lots and lots, of bubbles and listen this this one again and again.. You think? this one just doses something to me....
Clearly you can see the apple didn't fall from this tree when it comes to Gerald Levert (rest in peace).
I think the harmony in the back of
Stomach Aching, Legs Shaking, Baby Making SOUL🔥
" .... let me share your ecstasy, passion and pain ..."
classic underrated
i could almost cry
