Every year the world flocks to post about their Spotify wrapped on social media. This year my top 5 were nothing to be surprised about and all bands I love so much. So in this video, I thought, let’s try something a little different graphic design-wise and make vinyl record sticker designs for my top 5 artists.

I used to always desire to be a graphic designer for musicians...making t-shirts, album art, posters, etc. But then I kinda gave up on it, because I thought, that's not what will get me hired. I felt like, I have to get good at make boring corporate designs, so that's what I did...but as I watch you, I feel like I should return to the music lover side of me and make things based on what I'm actually interested in. Very inspiring to see, and it's so awesome you like hardcore music too, I love that.

Please do. This is my exact story. I thought design was meant to be just for marketing materials. But when I started watching Jesse and some others I realised my true interest. I'm doing the designs I want now and not working for clients persay There are so many other ways designers can make money other than doing designs for businesses
the new lords its the hardest

same question here
i thought that donut font looked familiar it was dunkin donuts' font
does anybody know HOW you make the typography and graphics on the cover look real? when it budges with the creases/lines and all? not meaning the printing out part, but the steps before that - going fram flat to texture.

It’s done with blending modes, but for this record, he’s using a mockup that will create the effect for you once you add your design to it. You can find them online.

THIS IS A COVER NOT A LABEL. A RECORD LABEL IS LITERALLY A BUSINESS
