They way you break things down for us is Genius ! We all look at other bags, but the details you see and explain is way beyond. My new mantra is: Think outside the bag ! Lol 😆

I love the confidence you have in us when you say you can do this! I do like the way you help us to see our potential in recreating what we see the top designers doing but in our own way. I’m yet to take the plunge though ! but your videos do encourage us. Thanks again.

I think the next video will be on the Dooney & Bourke crossbody. It is a simple boxed corner bag and I know that you can do it 😀.

I have the prettiest green bag like the floral one you were talking about. The bag is tearing by the grommet because it doesn't have the leather reinforced.

Leather is a great textile to work with, but it does wear. Have you had it a while?

@@simplyclassic yes, for 3 years. But I only use it about 1-2 months before I change it to another bag.

I am interested in the one Saks (sorry never heard of them so not sure of spelling), but I am wondering how they finished off the end of the strap?

Thank you for watching Sharon. I think it might be a rolled hem on a serger?? It kind of looks like it but it might be some sort of specialty finish they have done at the factory too.

Any suggestions for similar strap hardware for Strathberry bag. They have a vertical bar I would love to add to a hand bag. I am sew to this community so I would love some guidance or suggestions on this if anybody has knowledge.

That is a tough one. I have never seen anything like that before. When I am looking for something unique I look at Bringberry Hardware. Maybe check them out and see if there is anything similar.

@@simplyclassic thank you very much for your reply! I fell in love with the simple look of the Strathberry and hope to make an inspire bag one day. Thank you for you video that help to bring a polish look to our homemade handbags. I look forward to one day joining your group when I find the courage and time to complete a bag. Hello I love the video ,so many ideas! I am particularly interested in the bag that has the straps on the sides and can be a backpack as well. You mentioned that their are some patterns like this, which ones do you think are close to what you have shown?

There are a few I have seen, I will look for them and link them for you. I know that the Georgia Girl Stitches Amber Convertible Tote is one that can be worn several different ways. I have made it many times, here is a link for it www.georgiagirlstitches.com/product-page/amber-convertible-backpack-pdf-pattern I will see what I can find on the other and link it when I find it.
