Design Concept | Warner Bros. on-screen branding (2024), version 2

Here is a slight update to my concept (or prediction) of how Warner Bros.' upcoming brand-new on-screen logo will look like.
You probably know about the iconic text ribbon's return to the shield. It is official, because a (likely prototype) variant of the new on-screen logo was shown with the new CGH (Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv) WB shield and the said ribbon. Hence comes a reason why this has been done to my concept.
Still, to look more iconic, the classic shield better fits on-screen with the 1984 sky background, or a sky background that looks similar to the former. The classic shield's on-screen logos are mostly accompanied by the Max Steiner fanfare, or the original 1999 version of the "As Time Goes By" fanfare.

Shield, clouds, studio lot transition - Blender 3.5
Studio lot footage - Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve
Fanfare - GarageBand
WARNING:
- This model is not editable, and will not be available as a full model, but will be only available as a shield model (without editable letters).
- This concept is purely related to graphic design. Even if I continue making stuff about Hollywood logos (except for their "remakes with links/no links"), I will never return to the logo remaking community.
- Please understand that this is a concept and not an official WB on-screen logo, because there is already an official 2023 on-screen logo that was made by Devastudios.

Although they've already revealed their official on-screen logo (that was made by Devastudios, the same company behind the 2021 logo), it could have been better if Devastudios made more updates in the 2023 logo to feature a much golden color and a sunnier sky background inspired by the 1984 logo. This will be also a perfect match with the new 2023 WB fanfare, and honestly, I cannot wait for that fanfare. I already consider it awesome after I heard a snippet of it in the new 2023 WBTV logo, plus it went back to the F pitch key (like in the original 1999 fanfare), that makes it even more amazing.

Version 2 looks so epic to 100% perfection. I love it. I did watch the 2nd version of the WB/New line Cinema concept you did. Looks perfect too. A perfect job well done, man!

I don’t mind if they use a 2021 logo of the television and Home enterteinment version of the Warner Bros. But only the pictures version looks okay for the WBD Shield with the iconic banner.

As for me, I'd prefer the WBD shield to fully replace the 2019 shield and 2021 on-screen logos.
I was surprised about the new logo popped up in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom in the end. And to be honest, I believe yours is a lot smoother than the official logo! Such concepts and details are just so amazing! I hope to see more of your logo designs soon!

Even though I also like the official logo (in due to how realistic the shield is), I believe the same. Thanks! It would be much wonderful if Devastudios had made the new WB logo with the 1984 sky background in its ultra-realistic rendition (as I predicted) and even smoother animation.

@@TCQH902 - You can download the concept video using a YT downloader, if you’re looking for the video - As for project files used to make this concept, only the shield model is provided as a free model, while the whole project file is proprietary, as it wasn’t meant to be treated as a logo remake. This is because I’m not a participant in the logo remaking community anymore. Besides, the whole project file is made in a higher Blender version, and is rendered in 4K resolution in the Cycles render engine, so it requires a powerful PC or an Apple Silicon Mac, for it to be handled without crashes. + There is a new version of my WB shield model, this time it’s remastered to match with Devastudios’ official design. You can download it on Sketchfab.

At first, it look weird in my opinion, but after seeing it, it is not weird, but it is a classic look to it. Nice concept! 10/10
I love them... Even MORE! They are now even more nostalgic! Warner Bros. Discovery will be very surprised at this! They should definitely use those for Movies and Television! *BIG* thumbs up! Send those to Warner Bros! Along with the New Line Cinema one! I think they will love them.

Update: the new logo debuts in Wonka, but according to the person who saw it, it's literally just the 2021 logo with the WBD Shied put on it. A Cheap Transition, so to speak. Update:Footage has been posted
Even though I would like to see them make a home entertainment logo like at the end, it’s probably more likely they’ll finally retire the home entertainment logo and use the normal logo as the de-facto home entertainment logo, only with the shield saying Warner Bros.

Well, thanks to the new logo introduced in _Wonka_ this month, I've started accepting the new logo. The banner works for the new on-screen logo for good contrast from the main Warner Bros. Discovery logo.

I've already heard of the official logo + the on-screen one hasn't been released yet. I'm currently working on the next update for this concept, this time it will be a bigger update: an updated sky background, more metallic shield and a new footage of the WB studio lot, which I'm currently working on.

They now used the new logo at Wonka, except that it retains the aspect of the 2021 on-screen logo albeit with WBD shield and banner written in Warner Bros Sans Condensed Bold font by MCKL. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gYqcx5uqZtXAmso.html

Maybe the absence of the banner was why Warner Bros. never used an on-screen variation of their 100th anniversary logo in any of their films this year, right?

There is a reason why I don't make variants of this concept with former names. I made this concept to predict the official logos, and not fake ones. However, there is another solution. I'm thinking of making these types of variants (like Family Entertainment or WAG), but they will count as fan imaginations, and not part of this concept.

@@louranzofletcherprods So far I can tell that the shield was made from an SVG imported into Blender. As for the banner, I grabbed it from a different model.

Again, WAG rebranded as Warner Bros. Pictures Animation. So I'm not making the WAG variant of it. Because my concept is meant to predict the official on-screen logos, and not fake ones.

this concept actually came true in some way but its wayyyy downgraded the banner uses the warner bros sans font instead of warner bros condensed on the real one and the texture on the real one too reflective and the animation trash compared to this one
