I was eight years old when this war took place. Looks like a nice small game. I'm becoming more and more a fan of smaller games over monster games. Happy Holidays Moe!

I also love smaller games, they’re easier to get to the table. But when you’ve got the time and the subject matter is right, the bigger/monster games are still awesome.

I just finished Salerno 43 and will be hoping over to Flying Colors/Under the Southern Cross. One day I will get all the East Front Series games and lay out those maps for one giant campaign game. @@MoesWargames

At the start of the ground offensive I was a 2LT in the Army finishing up my engineering degree and was expecting to get called into active duty early......the Army expected a high attrition rate that thankfully proved wrong, but this conflict was a great lesson on how OVER-PREPARATION saves lives in military conflicts. Well, at least saves the lives of the good guys! ;-)

Very true. At the time this was thought to be the spark to set the whole middle east on fire and it was all hands on deck, and more waiting in the wings. As you said, thankfully that didn't come to pass.

I’ll play them solo and if play them opposed. Provides an interesting challenge I think.
