Whether or not it's your aim or intention, you're utterly nailing the Angry Star Trek Band aesthetic, and it's marvelous.

Grateful to the algo for pointing me in this direction five months late instead of five years. Very glad to feel instantly hipper than everyone around me when Descartes a Kant is on my headphones.

The world needs more artists like this. I love the mix of styles and genres, and any clever use of dissonance is just *chef's kiss* some songs even give a Cardiacs vibe which you can't go wrong with!

Okay, so, KZread got it right for once by recommending me this band and I am IN LOVE with the music they are creating. This is fantastic! Very fresh and original, with great musicianship, vocals, and top-notch production. I've been listening to rock/indie music for 30+ years and it's rare that a band stands out as much to me on the first listen. I'm reminded of many of my favourite underground groups and musicians - people like like VoiVod, and Danielle Dax seem obvious influences for some reason - yet, this is definitely not derivative. It's transformative, new, and VERY refreshing for these tired old ears! I hope that the band gets the recognition that they so obviously deserve, and I hope to be able to see them live some day as I suspect that on stage they are even more mindblowing!
