One of my favorite lines from the show, when the lead girl isn't allowed we're a Jacket instead of her uniform but, the other girl shows up wearing a jacket and says "Well I'm not going to be individual on my own!" Haha Just how innocent it is is so funny!

I consider that really good character introduction. It’s funny as a bonus. Like “this isn’t Nam, it’s bowling, there are rules”. Those kind of lines let you know where the character’s head is and you can infer a backstory.

​@@carriew5106Oh yeah she's been giving high-key Penelope energy in her Bridgerton 3 promotion interviews. Also, this is from 3 years ago, you probably change as a person with each role.

I mean I absolutely loved the show and I didn't think it could get any better. But the cast, god! Apart from being phenomenal actors, their chemistry is so natural and magnetic. You really end up wishing you were friends with them, in and out of character.

3:58 - I *love* how the first famous person she thinks of that she'd like to have in the show is Ardal O'Hanlon...and then he ended up being in the show!

Derry Girls is the most fun, engaging and entertaining show I have seen in years. We do not have many shows like this these days. The actors/characters are phenomenal. So disappointed that there are no more seasons. This was my go to show especially after a hard/bad day. This show always cheers me up and makes me laugh with many nice moments too.

It might be nice to have a famous actor but tbh the characters on the show already are some of the best & so easy to love. All of them bring something to the table.

I came for the show and stayed for all of the accents. Michelle introducing the wee English fella as having an accent, that's the way they talk. Funniest line...

I just finished watching 3 seasons of derry girls on netflix and naturally I'm watching all the cast interviews 🤣

Michelle grew on me later on in the series, but I have to say, out of all the one liners she had, my favorite one was from the last season when they were practicing their Spice Girls routine and she goes ' And what the fuck are you doing Claire? The haka?'

As a Maori from New Zealand I freakn loved this line & laughed my head off.

I didn't watch Derry Girls on TV. After seeing an extract, I watched the whole two series back to back. It isn't just the situations which are hilarious but some of the throw away lines had me in stitches. I was watching them on the computer while my wife was asleep and I had a terrible job not to burst out laughing out loud. Thank you for writing such a brilliant series. Please do series 3 and more.

I just discovered the dairy girls during the pandemic and it might have saved my life, along with a lot of other comedy shows. But as a 63-year-old Irish American man working as a nurse in a large Urban hospital in the Midwest, this show has made my wife and I laugh so much to the point of tears.. I think we watched every show at least two times and finally season 3 came out on Netflix!

They’re so real and I can’t stop laughing looking at them! 😍😍😍

I'm so hanging out for season 3, I've watched 1 and 2 three times...these characters are great and so funny, I also find the more serious scenes very moving and usually brings me to tears...BRING ON SEASON 3!! 😁🍀💚

Derry girls is totally my favourite show! A show about teens growing up amidst the troubles of northern Ireland really shouldn't be soo funny but it simply adds to the herality of the teens growing pains

Agreed it shouldn’t have been said, but I can see how he probably wasn’t aware that this sort of thing is more personal (nowadays everyone’s very open - maybe not where they are though perhaps), and was simply trying to get in a word and be part of the interview. He was trying to play into the story but didn’t realise perhaps and you can see he’s truly embarrassed for revealing that later - his intention wasn’t to harm or oust :)
