I think CDR played better than Rose for Memphis that game, but I blame the loss on UCLA Coach Ben Howland, he didn't know how to maximize NBA-type talent. He actually limited them.

Westbrook has had less injuries than Rose (and less severe). It almost seems Rose is cursed with bad health. Is it genetics or is he a victim of his own style of play? Too much twisting torque on the joints on some of his moves?

Damn that UCLA team had NBA players that are still getting heavy run in the NBA, Mbah Moute, Kevin Love, Collison and Westbrook...I miss Drose hitting that gear, he does it once in a while but you always see him out with soreness like 2 days later

Watching this brings back memories since I am a native Memphian. That particular season the U of M Tigers was suppressed in the rankings almost all season long because of politics. They wanted UCLA to be above the Tigers! I was so happy when my team showed the world who was the better team!!! CDR (Chris Douglass Roberts) was the heart and soul of the team

we couldn't stop CDR and Rose that day. Those two guys-and I think there was a 3rd backcourt guy Mack or something-they played great. Dozier or Dorsey also out-physicalled Kevin Love. We had plans for Love that game, he didn't answer..

Nobody was as beautiful to watch in that era than DRose.

People forget that Westbrook IS NOT a true PG, he was a slashing 2-Guard. OKC felt giving him the ball, gave him more chances to go UCLA-mode.
