Its gets to a point in mma, even in the ufc, where people view fights not for a belt, not for championship hopes, and not even for trash talk. Lewis occupies a really special place in the UFC that so few fighters have held. I will watch this guy, win or lose, boring fight or walk off KO. Lewis is the man and I dont know how many fights he realistically has left on him, but I hope the UFC keeps him around for a long, long time. He's a needle mover while also being completely relatable and down to earth. The fact that he's in title contention is just icing on the cake.

Lots of fighters do that , monster is a UFC sponsor. Majority of these athletes have their own sponsors. Also lots a fighters don’t particularly care for their CEO . Dominick Cruz has been pretty public about that .
