It’s barely noticed but it makes me laugh ! Watch #26 of Houston on the play at 7:50. He picks an angle towards Henry on the sideline but gets burned by Henry’s speed and after the defender makes a dive at him, Henry’s feet give the guy a foot jab in the face and his head pops back. Funny!

2nd round drafted by the Titans, he was Champion with Bama, Heisman Trophy winner and drafted only in 2nd round ? A guy like Zeke Eliott not really good was drafted 1st round and 5th by Dallas, Henry only 2nd round ? Wow, It's time for the King to pay teams who forgot him at the draft... Destroy them Derrick, U're the KING !!

When Derrick Henry lines up deep in the backfield you hear a collective, "OH CRAP" from the defense. It's also weird to see him against his other teammates. He is as big or bigger than most of the linemen. I would like to see every Alabama player currently in the NFL come together and play as one team against another NFL Team.

Why we choose to throw the ball after that catch when our RB’s were just fine is what started the damn fire. Freaking Kyle Shanahan…. Super glad he lost against the Chiefs.

Remember how few highlights Henry put up before Tannehil and Arthur Smith unleashed the Shan/Kubiak/McVay outside zone scheme? You can't just draft a great RB and expect to have a run game. You need a QB, an OL, and a scheme that doesn't allow 11 defenders to commit to stopping the run. Without blocking giving momentum its 0-2 yards. Because a parked truck is harmless. But a moving truck kills you.

NFL Not For Long Doesn't matter how hard, efficiently, advanced, or expensively you train. RB 1 shelf life expires aggressively fast in the NFL. Maybe Derrick Henry is the exception and he'll have a long productive HOF career. Or, more than likely he'll retire early because of the abuse his body's going through. There's only so many that stood the testament of a long career. Walter Payton, Adrian Peterson, Emmitt Smith, Marshawn Lynch etc. For every Walter Payton, there's an incontinable amount of Todd Gurley's, Jamal Anderson's, and Terrell Davis's. I hope Derrick Henry has a long prosperous career. The odds are stacked heavily against him though.

I’d say at the level he plays at now. 4 more seasons. It’s rlly his legs that I would only worry about considering he’s the size of most LB’ers. He’s a big cat and those dudes that last a long time are usually low to ground backs. Peterson is the exception there. Doesn’t mean they’re better just that they’re luckier when it comes to injuries. Also if Henry wouldn’t of gotten injured this year and got his 2nd 2k season he would’ve penciled in his 1st ballot HoF card there. He’ll def be a HoF’er. If he has a career as long as any of those great great RB’s you mentioned he probably would be the best of the bunch IMO. Well…. Sanders is #1 actually.
