I have bad acne and the first time I met my dermatologist he walks in, looks at me, and says “wow! Is it always this bad?” Cried in my car after.

Acne caused by amongst other things sebum, which oils the skin and keeps it smooth. So you may well have the last laugh lol.

Dermatologist know her sht well cause none of us was even guessing an age that starts with forty😂

Her voice really gave it away for me... she looks her age to me, she has healthy 45 yr old skin.

@@whoisdis8201 Yeah, and I am white like chalk, avoid sun as much as I can and don't have much eybrow movement and stuff... I am 30+ and there are no lines on my forehead. But I have huge, dark undereye circles since I was 12 maybe, so we all get something 😂

@@ano1919 my genes gave me skin with very low melanin (Irish heritage). I live in Australia, where the UV index is extreme much of the day in summer and high much of the day in Winter. I enjoy outdoor sports. So, yes, it’s genetics and the sun, but if my genetics gave me more melanin, I probably wouldn’t have forehead wrinkles at 30. My mother didn’t and she had more melanin in her skin (more tan/olive skin). And she was exposed to more sun than me (sun baking was cool when she was young) and her face moved the same as mine as we were very similar in personality.

@@ano1919 I love the outdoors so I can’t avoid the sun being in subtropical part of Australia. I wouldn’t want to, even though I have pale skin that isn’t suited to it, because it gives me such a mental health boost to be outdoors.

There's no way I would feel comfortable in this situation. All her observations would make me feel inferior, even if they are just descriptions of my face.

I used to be a heavy make up wearer in my 20-30s...in my mid 30s I decided to go natural and skipped wearing foundation for years. I noticed 2 major things...the deep set line on my forehead went away...and my skin looks tighter and youthful.

Hooded eyes could be bc of age. As ppl get older their eyes may become hooded. But Idk if that's what she was getting at or what. I've always had hooded eyes lol.

I don't see why any dermatologist would be guessing people's ages, that doesn't do anything but reinforce the obsession with looking younger when we all inevitably age anyway.

The patient looked pissed the entire time the doctor was talking. Also being overweight ages you.

I think the dermatologist was asking to determine if that is a natural feature of her face thats genetic, or if its a result of skin sagging and therefore aging.

​@@tallulahdenton8204 Exactly. And that shows how extreamly blind Dr Eye-glasses is. This lady has mongoloid craniofacial structure and phenotype, not to talk about the epicanthic folk. Obviously, her lids are not sagging but a genetic feature.
