    honestly, my skin has never looked better since i stopped using so much crap. a good cleanser, a good moisturizer, sunscreen, drinking more water and drinking/eating less junk and sleep. The beauty industry, and that includes skincare, is a racket and relies heavily on you buying their products. I'm just saying 😏

    And my skin started looking better after I started using “so much crap” some people can literally wake up and wash their face with a bar of soap and be fine. Others have to take extreme measures. My face is clear because of these things plus skin peeling acid treatments and micro needling. Everyone hasn’t hit the genetic lottery like you. Just be thankful you did but don’t discourage others who need advance routines

    Exactly… internet is full of dermatologist and other people who are telling you 5,6,10.. step skincare routine.. interesting is, that almost everyone gives you different recomendation.. he is using so much products with lot of chemicals that I would never recomend for everyday use… less is better…. And if you wanna use so much products daily, I would choose natural products… nature made our skin oily skinbarier which is antibacterial and has low pH… if you use so much cosmetic products, and guys this is really not necessary… your skin can get worse… I dont understand morning cleansing.. you just get up from your bed… your skin is clear.. Eye cream is just a marketing… My friends sometimes ask me, what I do for my skin and I tell them this: clean it in the evening, you don’t need cleanser with chemicals.. use water and some drops of natural oil (fE rose oil)… wash with luke warm or cold water, dry gently, in the evening Retioids, in the morning Vit C or hyaluronic acid… and then in the morning sunscreen and in the evening the same bio rose oil.. that’s it.. no need to have 50 products at home.. save your money and your skin ❤

    Remember the kind of food & drink you take everyday impacts your skin too . For me a face wash & moisturizer/sunscreen is enough for my skin . Using so much products is a no no for me . Make your skincare simple as possible..just don't make it more complex.

  • @missNCW

    This is simple. Just because you don’t want to use these products, it’s doesn’t mean that this is complex. He clearly said it’s for anti ageing. And he’s an expert so it’s weird that you’re telling people to make something simple when someone who is a dermatologist and knows more, has clearly said this is for people interested in anti ageing - which requires more than just your three things

  • @missNCW

    @missNCW

    Жыл бұрын

    All he did was add two products to what you said, obviously eye cream is optional, that’s not extreme. You can’t expect to call it an anti ageing routine if you do the bare minimum of wearing sunscreen. Washing and moisturiser don’t even count as anti ageing, that’s just being clean and not dry. So the other steps are necessary

    @@nemanjap8768 honestly I never cared to much about my face, my skin was very oil, but then when I hit my 30, my skin start to change and became less oil that's when I started creating a routine, first I try a bunch of thing and my skin became very sensitive, then I became minimalist in 2015 and decide to go back to the basics, best decision, the less I put in my face the better it looks, also I don't wear a lot of makeup. I learn to keep my skin moisturize, don't do anything aggressive and don't change products every month. I think I started this routine at 32.

    I use vitamin e oil and also sunflower oil occasionlly and I get my age mistaken all the time! Everyone always wants to scrub off their natural oils, but I was taught that the natural oil is what preserves skin from aging, and for myself/my gram/mom/great gram, it proved to work bc all I listed has aged beautifully! ✌️

  • @raerohan4241

    @raerohan4241

    Жыл бұрын

    For me, if I leave my natural oils on (let alone add even more oil...) I break out horribly. The pimples are so large and red that my skin looks like it got bitten by a swarm of gigantic mosquitoes. Not everyone's skin has the same needs, and it was comments like yours and those of other people's on this short that it took so long for me to address what MY skin needed, instead of what non-experts on the internet said was needed. Now I have tons of scars that are going to need years of time plus several expensive treatments to fix, if they can be fully fixed at all.

  • @hayley4415

    @hayley4415

    Жыл бұрын

    @@raerohan4241 no you're right, everyone skin is different and when you already have too much oil then that most certainly won't help! I was speaking for myself and what I was taught by my grandparents and it works for myself. I have many friends who have very similar situations with their skin and scarring from acne and I give u my word there are so many things that'll help u!!! Im really into plants and herbs esp when it comes to skin and I make a spray that consists of witch hazel, rosehip oil, aloe vera and a few drops of dragons blood and it has really helped not only my friend with her scars but I also use it on my body for stretch marks from pregnancy and they are now basically unnoticeable! Also plantain is AMAZING for healing wounds. U can go right outside, depending where u live, and pick some. They're what most people consider to be weeds and if more knew how amazing this plant is , I can guarantee they wouldnt rid of it bc there's so many benefits and for more then just scars. Also willow bark not only reduces redness but it'll also help future clogged pores. And try mixing nutmeg powder, honey and lemon juice and apply it to your skin bc that will also reduce skin discoloration, pimples and redness. This one is going to sound extremely weird but it's absolutely worth it, u blend an onion and add fresh aloe and use that twice a day and that'll also rid and scars, it just doesn't smell the best lol And just one more, burdock root extract with wild yam paste will cure scars!! I've never really used any products in the shelves, my mom told me they make your skin worse and I def agree, but just know there are so many more then what I listed and despite how frustrating it gets, dont give up and at least give it a try bc u honestly will be surprised! Nothing happens overnight, but most of what I said will reduce swelling and redness w each use and after a few weeks you'll def see a huge difference! Oh and as far as the vitamin e oil is concerned, instead of using only the oil, put a few drops into witch hazel and spray your face daily w it , the witch hazel will help so it doesn't add more oil on your face and it also won't make your skin dry! I really hope that was a little more helpful and I truly wish u the absolute best!! ✌️🌻

    Keep in mind this is not a routine for everyone. And remember to always go to bed with clean skin, so as not to let the bacteria, sit in your pores overnight, and bring all that dirt from the day into your bed. As we age, generally, our skin tends to get dryer so we don't necessarily need to cleanse twice. You can always just wash your face with warm water in the morning and use a toner to balance the pH as long as you have cleansed before you go to sleep at night. It is not a one size fits all.

    @@user-be5qg7mr1s for normal skin It is fine. My husband is 40 and he used only soap and water too and has perfect skin. He has normal skin( not dry not acne. Maybe slightly oily on nose in summer). He has no wrinkles. I m 45 and i usually wash with water only in morning but as i use sunscreen i use cleanser or soap at night. I skip moisturizer if i dont feel dry

    After watching this story, I'm just like: Aren't there WAAAAAY TOO MANY steps? You put on 5 skin products on your skin!!!! I remember I've watched a dermatologist's channel, she said that: ONLY Put on 2, or 3 (the most) products on your skin on your routine or something. Because the more products that you put on your face, the more chance that you'll get irritated by them. Because there are more than 20 kinds of chemicals stuff in one products or something. And I just wonder: Are moisturizer and eye cream NECESSARILY to put on your face? Remember another dermatologists channel that I watch, she basically said that: Don't put on moisturizer if it's NOT NECESSARILY, if your skin is NOT dry, and you need to put on moisturizer to make you feel better. Because most people's (like 80% in population or something?) skin are oily, and moisturizer your skin has NOTHING to do with anti-aging, it WON'T make the speed of your skin aging slower or something. (But also, I'm from Taiwan, and the weather here is VERY HUMID, and she's from here too, so… I wonder if you live in America or something, it MIGHT be necessary to put on moisturizer? I don't know. But what about eye cream? Is it REALLY necessary…!?) So… I just wonder: Are some of the steps REALLY necessary here? I've NEVER seen a dermatologist recommend you to put THAT MANY of products on your face.

Retinol Serum (night) Morning: 1,2,3 Night: 1,4,2 You don’t need brands with fancy logos, packaging or whatever, the more it looks like a medicine, the better. That’s it.
