Thankfully, and by the Grace of God, I had the part on the truck to fix the issue and after two payments of $135, one to read the code, and the second to clear to the code, I was able to get fixed and make on-time delivery!
The ambient air temperature sensor wasn't hard to install or get out at all. It's one of those sensors that you should keep on the truck at all times since it's the first line of defense in your battle with the DPF system since the EGR hits it first with the exhaust gases.
Also, in response to this issue, I ordered my own computer with the appropriate software on it so I can diagnose these codes in the future without having to pay someone else. Not to mention, you might be somewhere there isn't a shop and could get yourself into a real pickle. It's a tool of necessity these days!
Granted, a new truck with only 100k miles on it shouldn't be breaking down in the first place! Especially, with how damn expensive the Blue Badger was!
